Plus, if you make the weapon so light you can spin it super fast, you might just snap the weapon instead of your opponent.
Like a CD spinning at # rpm. You can, but are you sure you want to?

It's simple. You're not allowed to. There are weapon restrictions.

But..but steel cutting water jets!
Silly restrictions like "no air cannons" and "no atomic powered railguns", sheesh. What kind of giant robot fighting competition is being run here?

Lots of flamethrowers in this competition. I know why no one uses water jets/soakers, there's practically no chance of getting your enemy close enough for long enough to cut into their bot (without already having them clamped enough for any other weapon), but I just want to see someone try at this point, maybe go for a short-circuit victory.

Whelp, was just looking through my old RA2 stuff when I found the BeetleBros site, which led me to here.
First, I just want to say I'm so darn happy BattleBots is coming back on tomorrow and I will definitely be glued to my TV watching that. Second:

I wish more builders lived near me so we could have a viewing party!

I definitely want in on a Battlebots watching stream/Skype group.
And apparently there might be a RA3 in 2016, why wasn't that at E3? Ah well, at least I found out about it through chance.

Yes. It looks like it is made of Paper Mache...or Radditz. Those little RC cars won't help at all. It's a very open/exposed design from what I could see.
