Real Robotics Discussion / Re: Robot Wars 2016 Discussion Thread
« on: July 26, 2016, 11:12:17 AM »
Was just having a quick read through this thread- and have only a couple of points to make.

Firstly we had an absolutely amazing time filming the show- there were some truly excellent fights and robots such as Nuts really had the roboteers supporting them backstage.

Also with regards to spoilers for the Grand Final I can confidently say that some of the fights shown are not part of the main competition. There were a good number of whiteboard fights which were also filmed (we even fought in a couple). So don't worry or look into the clips too much :)

I'll try and upload the beetles and ants over the weekend.

I was hoping to have Inertia B and Soundwave at Burgess but both needed work and I didn't manage to get time- I'm looking at the options of turning my proposed ant event in August into a Beetleweight one so there might be a dedicated event for them yet :)

Hi Guys,

I'm Will from Team Shock (Builder and driver of Manta, Maelstrom etc..) I was just sent a link to this thread and wanted to say that you are doing a damn good job so far with the replica's I was incredibly impressed by the ones for my robots and look forward to getting to try them out in the game :)

Good luck with the rest and once I finally get our new axe machine ready I might have to get you to replicate it as well :)
