Hi guys,
I was a big fan of Battlebots and all the other shows; I live in the S.F. Bay Area and even got to see a few of the events in person. I got Robot Arena when it was new, played it for awhile and forgot about it. It's great to see that there is still a community for it, but that it still works on current computers! I will probably play around a bit with single player and get back into it. But first I'll find a controller so I can use a stick instead of the keyboard! Jeff 3

Another tip: I had problems until I ran the game in "Compatibility Mode" for XP. I'm using Windows 7 and just rediscovered this game forum. I didn't know people were still playing it!
I downloaded the standard version from the link on this site. It crashed a lot until I used Compatibility Mode. To do this in Windows 7: - Go into the install folder and find the game exe, Robot Arena 2.exe - Right-click on it and pick "Properties" - Pick the Compatibility tab - Check the box for "Run this in compatibility mode for:" and pick Windows XP (Service Pack 3), then click the Apply button and the OK button. Now try running it again - this may clear up the problems you were having.
