Discussion / Eggbeaters?

Hi

I was wondering why there are not eggbeaters in Dsl. Those are nowadays very popular weapons, especially in smaller bots..  :)

And if somebody doesn´t know what eggbeater is, it is kinda "flat" drum  :roll:  :

This goes bit offtopic, but I have used "wheel motors" and "Razer claws" very often in my bots at Dsl 1.0:

But in Dsl 1.2 those parts are not in component list so I can´t use them anymore. Very annoying.. Or maybe there is/was some problem in installation?  :? Maybe you could add those parts for use in Dsl 2.0?

Real Robotics Discussion / weapon heads

Just found this forum, even thought I have played DSL v1.2 almost every day..  8)

Well I decided not to join it because I don't have enough skills to build a robot.  :cry:

Bit late here, but I´am finnish roboteer and I have built something like 10 bots, but only few have competed. And when I started building, I knew.. well, nothing about building bots, but still I have won 3 events. And in fact my simple wedgebot, XIII, won the first event I took part. Nowadays I can even build destructive bots like >this< (125mm 90g sawblade @ 8-13krpm) even thought I started from zero. :D

Building real robot isn´t that hard, just join our forum and we´ll happily help you. :)
