I guess something we learned here is that what worked 10-15 years ago doesn't work anymore. I'm still holding out hope that this may end up with a Robot Wars revival

Oi I did not do myself any favors! Still though it's always cool when it's a reference to an album or a band or something music related (as opposed to looking like something music related- Shredder and Double Trouble, I'm looking at you two)

I mean, it's the bias in me obviously, but other than Rammstein I can't think of any other robots named after something music related, which always is really really cool in my book

So as I was going through the Battlebots wiki, I noticed Christian Carlberg had a robot for the fourth Robot Wars which was a lightweight walker bot named Pretty Hate Machine:
Which, if anyone here knows, is the name of the first record from the group Nine Inch Nails: ![]() So now I've got a ton more respect for him, and damned if this isn't the coolest origin name for a robot I've ever seen! 7

General Support / Very noobish question about DSL« on: January 31, 2014, 05:38:35 PM »
Okay, so I downloaded the DSL2 pack (and the patch DSL2.1) and my question is (and if this has been answered already I do apologize) is it possible to take a robot from another pack (say, the Roaming Robots AI Pack's Kronic) and transfer it to where it will work with DSL2?
Many thanks to anyone that helps me out ![]()
