Haha I got youll good, no the screenshot of that is actually a screenshot from an old Pop-up I made. I saved the screen shot on my USB, but eventually with my computers memory gone the bot got erased. But no it was not really my entry, since it was too unrealistic, also I controlled it. But anyways I am actually making some bots that are realistic related and im testing to see which is the better of all of them.


Man even a newbie can have his fun times no worries I won't mess around next time.

Nah, I'm fine perhaps I will try to rebuild, after all the bot was preety small but thats the challenging part... Fitting in 2 NPCs with space still left over other modules... ehh hopefully I can rebuild it (although it won't look exactly the same) by the time the tournaments entries are done.

EDIT:

Well it seems I was able to rebuild my bot in a few hours... Although it doesn't seem as effective as it was before at least we and I all know I'm still going to try and enter.

Well it seems I this new antweight won't be able to participate in the the tournament, my computer got a nasty virus and I had to erase everything including the bot files which I always forgot to store in my USB. I even lost my entrance bot dang... 1 less rookie/newbie in this tournament's sign-ups because I lost my bot  (However if I can recreate it again, I might still have a chance of entering).


Ohh what terrible timing for my computer to have it's memory wiped it makes me almost want to...

Meh, I may be new around these parts but ill give it a shot. Luckily I have made some bots over the past 2 months I think ill pick my best one.

Just a question: Will our bot be allowed if it has decals from a mod?

Discussion / Need help on how to get involved more...

Well anyways like any other newbie(maybe), I need guidance from players who have been here longer than me so I can snoop my way around the site and get involved in the RA2 commmunity. At the moment I could really use some help because, I just now visit the site to make sure im logged in, however it's getting quite annoying that I can't seem find a way to squeeze into the community.


Pleased be a kind soul and help this newbie out

EDIT: I have upgraded this new Bot type I have given upgraded it's overall speed, weapons, and armoring. Below are pictures of the recent upgrade. I have also noticed this bot can indeed self-righten, although it takes a bit of time to so and in some cases needed assistance.

So I created an Unknown bot type and your saying I suggest giving it a name for the type of bot? From what I know it works something like that of a clamper, and a little bit like a pop-up, but it shuts into the center of the bot (on the top) Hmm I guess ill call the bot type...

Jawbot with this one being a horizontal one? XD


or I guess beartrap could work too

(NOTE I am still a newcomer to the RA2 site A.K.A. Gametechmods, please forgive me if I have posted this topic in the wrong place).


Well today while playing a bit of DSL I noticed I had a random bot in the game upon further inspection it was not a robot from the Bot Exchange. So I must have made it. Anyways it looks quite wierd and perhaps it was a failed attempt on making a pop-bot since I do recall paying DSL 2.1 last night. I must have not clearly remembered since I was tired, and I had token medicine for my cold. (The medicine made me drowsy but enough of this stuff). Anyways i'm trying to found out what type of Bot Type it is because I have no idea what I have made/created.
I have also supplied a few pictures of the bot below. (Note, that when trying to view the image right click it and click to open in new tab to view the whole thing, or you can just zoom in if it's hard to see).
