Diesector, full stop. Hell, anything built by Donald Hudson is amazing.

From Robot Wars, my undisputed favorite is Terrorhurtz. A huge breath of fresh air for the series, especially for an overhead axe, and an improvement on one of the most iconic combat robots, Killerhurtz.

A more obscure but awesome example is Cuad the Crusher. That was truly an original design, and their fight against Techno Destructo in series 5 of Battlebots was a fun watch.

Hey, do NOT diss X-terminator, one of the only non-wedges to get to the 7th wars semi finals!

That's an accomplishment on its own! All hail the wedge-buckling, flipper-destroying flywheel!

Yeah, Spikasaurus was incredibly lucky to even get that far in the annihilator. Mostly because it was smart enough to stay the heck away from Dominator II.

Also, I agree that Typhoon 2 did pretty much breeze though Series 7 of Robot Wars, facing nothing but robots weak against it (big, bulky frames with mechanics spaced out, and generally fragile designs like Thermidor), and that Atomic broke down purely by their own bad luck. However, Typhoon 2's antics were still VERY fun to watch, and it was a genuinely good robot. I still believe Storm II should have won that series, but I won't marginalize Typhoon for it.

My least favorite robot would probably have to be A-Kill. I mean, just look at it.

That's just epic.

Whoa, it's been a couple months since I posted here. Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk. Anyhow...

STOP RELAXING.

TAKE A... THRILL PILL!

Classic twackbot at first glance, and one of my most fun builds so far. I've got some skirts at the front for pushing purposes, and the whole thing... well... take a look at the innards and see.

The reason for the bike wheels is to keep the wideness to a minimum, since the servo takes quite a bit of space. The servo is, of course, the most fun part of the robot-- it turns a basic whacker into a complete maniac of a machine. Take a look for yourself...

While I mostly mess around with this robot for fun, it DOES have some competitive value. The huge arm keeps spinners at bay, pushing them around until they flip over. If the design's just right, I can even flip them out with my front wedge-- the arm in the back finishes it off with a push (it's why I have the 259 disk attached).

259 in their battle against Wild Thing in series 6. That robot would've been awesome to watch in the semi finals.

Well, since I'm getting back on RA2, I might as well start with DSL, since stock is boring (no offense to whoever uses it)

I've made a couple robots so far, but none of them too spectacular. So without further ado, my first creation...

THUNDERSTORM!

I intended for my first bot to be more realistic in style, so it doesn't have much in the way of heavy weaponry. It's a heavyweight with a basic rhomboid prism shape, and has a nifty front flipper with pushing power to boot.

The insides...

I'll post a demonstration of it fighting a replica later, since I'm having a little trouble uploading the screencap. Internet lag, methinks.
