Lol man that was awesome. :D Also can you control it now? Because it looked like so. No, I can't steer it anywhere, but it is a bit easier to get it flying than before... I have made a little "cheatier" version of it too, i put some razer claws as its wings so i get about 50000-200000 points in every game now.. I don't have the time to make a video of it now, but here is a picture. Imagine this thing jumping around and rotating at an awful speed in the combat arena. I completely massacred two Sir Killalots yesterday. Cutting of every single piece of their armor and then KO'ed them both.

Ok, I have now put the some weapons on him and it turns out... HE IS UNBEATABLE (almost). Here is a video where Crazy F*cking Seagull 2 beats the cr*p out of Sir Killalot and wins by immobility. My robot is somehow easier to use now and very deadly. But the downside is that he is quite useless in arenas where you can fall over the edge. But still he hasn't lost one single battle in the combat arena :D

:D I just wanted to make a robot that looked like it could fly and when I started playing around with it I came up with a robot that really was able to fly, by mistake... :D
I will try to put some weapons on it, but I think that it might not be able to fly anymore if it gets too heavy. Because i got it to fly when I used the wings of the robot to get it up in the air, and when it falls down to the floor again it starts flying, as in the video...

Yeah. I have thought of reinstalling my robot arena 2 and reinstall the original dsl tc 1.2 pack and just build a bot from the original dsl parts... but it's so fun to mod things in the game yourself that I rather play it that way and forget about the bot exchange....
Maybe we should start to send in some pictures and info about our bots to the robot showcase or something. 'cause i still think it's very fun to see other peoples' creations and i like to share my own bots too.
Edit: Hey ACAMS or someone from the staff! Couldn't you make a nice Robot showcase page here? It could be exactly like the bot exchange, but in stead of exchanging bots, you could just read about them and watch pictures. ("exactly like the bot exchange" = the bots would be ordered into weight classes and maybe type of robots, in that way it would be more comfortable to browse the robot showcase)

Ok. Maybe the motor mod didn't work, because it is VERY powerful when I used it on my computer. It can flip Sir Killalot very high without any problem...

hmm.. I think it was two weight modifications and one power mod... (A more powerful tminus snapper motor and a VERY light control board and a VERY light and powerful battery) ...That's why I didn't put in the folders. did you test the bot? did it crash?

I'm sorry. It's just that I always come up with some new thoughts after I have posted... Maybe if there where more people on this site at the same time as me, I wouldn't have to wait for a new chance to post. Edit: Ok... I'm new to this site, but now i figured out that you can edit your posts... In that way I don't have to double post...

I think i had to change a line in the cfg file.
Hmm... i have done that in another game, yes... Could it be that you put in a line in the .cfg that says: "debug = ~" or something... I'll try that the next time i play robot arena 2.

Yes. that is true... ...but I have exchanged one bot now, and I tried to put in a .cfz file with all the parts that aren't in the dsl tc 1.2 version... but i dont know if it works. If someone downloads my bot: HIV, could you write here if it works and if the .cfz is of any use?

Why don´t make this site's "robot exchange" the biggest collection of Robot Arena 2 robots!!!

Come on!!! I think that it would be so much fun if every member exchanged at least 1 bot! It is always nice to see other peoples creations and compare them with your own, and maybe get some inspiration to build your own SUPERBOT!

By the way, is there any button or something to bring up the console or how do you bring it up?

That did help a bit. Thanx.

And one more thing... Does anyone know if you can bring up a console in the game or something! ie. There is a debugwindow.gib file in the robot arena 2\ folder. How do you bring the debugwindow up in that case?

I'm making some small modifications myself on some of the components, and I would like to know what the different numbers indicate on the "Burst = 0 20 60" and "power = 20 40" in a burst motors text file. What numbers should i put in if i wanted to make a flippermotor that flips very slow but still is powerful enough to lift heavyweight robots? or is it possible at all?

Hmm... Good ideas! But I think that there should be some REALLY powerful servomotors that could actually lift a heavyweight robot! But maybe it will spin too fast, so it would be hard to control...
