yea it took me about half an hour of playing but i figured it out and have one myself now.... i still gotta give you props for the epic stacking you did in that bot... i couldnt get an extender on the second when i stacked mine and i couldnt get em to stack with enough space for the extenders

spectating host server on a 1mg+ uprate should do ^^ id say id do it but my uprate is only .45m but my dl rate is 2.76m... if only there was a host server available like there is for most games -.- although anyone can make a host server so long as they have 1.5m+ uprate if there playing too or 1m uprate if there not... it also requires a domain though and everyone would have to set there robot arena to use the host server's domain address instead of gamespy's domain..... anyone have sufficient uprate and a spare computer and willingness to be the host server? if so ill look into resolving a domain and altering RA2 to use it as the default.... perhaps this should be like voted on or sumthin though? maybe im one of a kind in my interest to drive my own bots in battle -.- how well did the hamachi work anyway? that could be a beginning to understanding as to whether a host server would work....

hmm... well thats crappy... as much as i like AI v AI for true test of bot, i agree with the time honored tradition of driver being a larger factor than vehicle... a good driver can make a pos work and a bad driver cant win in a gawdly one.... plus its more fun to be the driver, spectating isnt my sport :) another problem i have is most of my bots are built for a singular purpose/strategy thats uncommon, ex. my iCanHazUrTirezPl0x? is specially designed to target the opponents tires and i couldnt even begin to think of how to AI that lol.... besides, if the US for war games tested UAV v UAV which would win? there identical? and with as many "clones" as there are(kinda hard to make anything that isnt technically a clone of sumthin anymore though) what happens when the bots are evenly matched?..... nah i say driver is more important than the bot build :P which can be true i have beaten HW's with my pos AW that has 2 static rzr tips... it takes skill....
EDIT: i just realised who replied lol.... hey man nice AW chassis... i never use it but its nice, i cant get my weight that low >_< yours sits at 90.1 loaded and mines 90.5 loaded with plastic lol(i normaly use dsa) im close though... not bad considering i built it before i knew you existed :P you got hecka skill with AW's man i love your mini's xD

wow... i just ripped him apart and now i gotta know... how in the *witty adult phrase* did you attach 3 hpz's on one snapperII in the same spot and on round extenders at that?? absolutely epic....

well i can see the advantages of using that setup... but you lost me on the 4 wheel part o_O im wouldnt have a clue how to put 4 HPZ's for drive one that without knowing how to eFFe, i know how to snapper load but im not sure how to place more than one hpz in the same general place, i think you have to eFFe to put 2 hpz's in the same spot like on archetype(although he stepped it up and has 3 on each side in the same spot o_O) ill play with it perhaps ill eventually figure out eFFe glitch and how to put my wheels like archetypes lol
EDIT: LOL i got tired of trying to learn the eFFe glitch on my own(which is how ive learned everything so far) and watched sage's vid lol that ez..... ok so i can eFFe now wonder if itll help ^^

thank you for all your help :) but could i perhaps trouble you once more?... i think i understand what your talking about but i dont learn very well from reading, do you think you could build a plain box with just one snapper in it with the exteneder setup your talking about attached and post a pic? that would be MOST epic EDIT: and if you tell me how to give you rep, ill definately give you rep+

actually... i didnt notice it was static... what else was attached? i moved one wheel wondering how they were stuck in there along time ago and the drive wheel wasnt the only thing that moved... and are you sure its wobbly? it drives great for me(albeit a lil too fast) but not wobbly lol.... meh i prolly dont know nearly as well as you, hopefully not at least since you built it :) any suggestions then as to how to snapper load both without gaining the wobbly in my drive?....both drives on one snapper dont wobble but i cant seem to place em right and i have a hard time snapper loading more than one thing per connecter point as im not sure how to eFFe yet... thanks for the input though at least i think im understanding this a lil better :)

alright most of you will prolly know this one easy but i cant seem to figure it out lol..... how come when i attach more than just drive to my snapperII's , they wobble randomly? i figured it was a balance issue or a weight problem but when i go look at bots like Pwnator's Archetype i realise his is way more complex on the snapper's and doesnt wobble in the least bit??? i cant even drive without my tires flopping about and yet there set up alot like archetypes... i can post screenies or a vid later if you want let me know.... any help would be greatly appreciated ~Enoch
P.S. on another note if this is in the wrong section i apologize i wasnt sure where it would go so i posted in general discussion.

@Naryar lol yep eye raping skin and tire raping weapons - tidal wave is ok... except the spinners are weak 3 hpz'd hs would be more effective and less gaudy..... and im not sure if i was goin for undercutter? i have them at the PERFECT height to eat the opponents tires, be they minis or the big ones he uses... go to the exchange and d/l him and go for there tires... then youll see xD
@j idk i like alot of there demotivationals but im not interested in photo-manipulation, thusoff, why all my pics are done with a screenshot and paint lol... i might look into it tho if its free and easy, thx....
EDIT: fixed a small typo

well heres a bot i made purely in jest.... my friend and i were laughing about the icanhazcheeseburgers site and playing ra2 and had a ridiculous idea for a bot, this is the result lol.....

ok, first off, my bad for puttin my name in he splash -.- ive only seen one BOTM splash(last months Ion By NFX) and i coulda swore the Ion By NFX at the top was part of the splash therefore i posted my name lol, now onto other things...
@Sage i apologize if this is a "copycat bot" but alas i have only seen 4 of your bots(the ones in ur sig) since i feel browsing other ppl's bots ruins my own creativity, and alas my name isnt the same its "MC HammerTime" not "MC Hammer" close tho and i do apologize -.- perhaps i should go look through every BOTM contest before i post another BOTM bot lol
@ppl who wonder about its effectiveness - this bot originally started as a weapon system test and i must admit i didnt finish it.... he is only a "proof of concept", turned tributary. the motion of the sledges flips all bots ive encountered but his wedge kinda fails -.- with some work this weapon concept could work wonders, even still theres only 25-30 minutes work into this bot(apparent if you saw internals) and if you would like i can upload its .bot file to either the BOTM bot section or to the exchange just so you can all play with it...... on another weapon concept note, i have been attempting to experiment with weapon systems not commonly used and so far have made 3 new weapon systems ive not seen implemented yet ^^ this is one of them
@BOTM contest - i think #1 is a Sage bot(looks identical to the 4 in his sig lol) Bruce and Pulse look effective but pulse is a commonly used style the Ice Falcon or w/e its name was looks neat but "neat" doesnt mean much to me... i voted #1 since i like that style bot and paint just isnt enough for me... imo if it cant murder its worthless lol @ #8 not a bad attempt but please next time use actual text instead of spraypaint -.- thats just impossible to understand

o.O strange i firmly beleive clickbeetle's charts and graphs and whatnot where HP Ztek requires 400 input and drains at a rate of 100 unless im misunderstanding the components chart where it plainly states : "HP Z-Tek Motor - Input -400" cuz according to that to attain max speed on a spin motor it requires a nifty for each one or a black for every 2..... ima go play with this in the test shop just like i did with the DDT's(i wont bother to post vids but ill post results)
EDIT: well the results are in - with 100 it spins as fast as with 400.... but with the lack of raw torque with 100 when it collides it just stops with 400 when it collides it rotates one of the bots and dont stop......
ok so now im thinkin i understand it more comprehensively for a HS 100 per is fine but for a VS to acheive the lift requires the 400 and for a HS designed to toss bots(like Ziggo irl) they should use 400 per.....
and thanks for challenging my statement, i had a good understanding of the matter but alas in the end i have acheived a fuller more thorough knowledge of said topic xD
EDIT2: i forgot to mention final results on burst motors... altho 100 "can" power a burst follow the chart for best results ^^

sadly my bot is slow and ill admit it although if i lose my wedge i can outrun some 4 wheelers, and from my expereince(as limited as it may be) in a popup vs popup match the faster one always loses(they kinda ramp right over the slow one) but like i said my experience is limited... thanks for the advice ill look into it more... and do you know where i can look at PitA8 to compare flaws?

i didnt mean overclocking.... i was referring to all the people that underclock it e.g. 1 supervolt for 8 hp zteks ??? thats not nearly enough power and yet i see alot of bots do it... and alas when they hit me there spinners just stop until they move away from me my fully powered ones will toss bots across the arena i apologize if i sounded like i meant overclocking i just meant this - Provide slightly more than enough power required for best results. - jeez perhaps i shoulda saved myself all the dang trouble with the vids and long explanations and just plainly posted that one short sentence -.- i just dont think most people understand what underpowering a bot does to it, if you need an example of an underpowered bot go look at almost every starcore spinner and popup that and everyones showcase ive seen the bot doesnt have enough batteries and most people are saying get rid of more? it makes absolutely no sense to underpower a bot heres an example why: a 6 hpz HS with 36 razors powered by 2 blacks will not nearly hit as hard as 2 hpz's with 18 razors powered by 2 blacks for a bot with 6 hpz's you need a minimum of 3 blacks and a pink yet most ppl run maybe a black and pink? food for thought perhaps... oh and a good example of one of the showcase "remove more batts" is mine..... my last posted bot runs with a 3400 input and 3600 output but i was told twice to remove 1000 input from it.... i did just prove a point to myself(again) and with my 3400 input i hit about 2.5k dmg with the pinks all gone i hit 1k if im lucky -.- all that info is posted in my showcase though.... either way the point im trying to make here is.... tally your total energy requirements using Clickbeetle's and Firebeetle's components chart... then add 100 to it and make sure you have that much battery power for maximum efficiency.
and joe... the game does change speeds they just dont make things faster than max... but they do make them slower. which i demonstrated in the video, the hammer falls noticeable slower.

yea they do draw at 100 per which is why i overpower spinbots as often as i can i absolutely hate it when my spinners arent doin like 200 billion miles per second lol... and i wasnt exactly referring to amperage draw i was more referring to voltage requirements to meet maximum possible potential e.g. 5 spin motors will run fast off a nifty but faster off a nifty and a pink and no faster off a supervolt just longer - real life example 9v DC brushless fanmotor attached to a 6v psu, try it at home you might be surprised at what happens ^^

ya know its kinda funny like that.... i get under the wedges just fine lol but its like his chassis is 5k kilotons of weight o.O even pushing against a wall he just wont budge any farther than the back of the wedge bars lol and if i hit him from behind or a tire/side i just glance harmlessly away?? anyhoo..... and i do need all them pinks.... i hit roughly 2.5k dmg per swat like this and without em(removed for side armor) i barely can hit 1k and my DDT's dont snap down fast enough(or hard enough to apply pressure on my wedge) im not sure if u noticed but there is 10 pinks there not just 4 i actually get 1/3 of my power from em lol

Ever wonder why your spinner bot dont just whip other bots across the ring? or why your hammer bots cant seem to dent them real bad on the first swing? or even why your lightweights are so slow? well then perhaps you should read this..... alright.... ive been seing alot on here about power efficiency and ive noticed alot of builders dont follow the math so i put together a small demo of why you should follow the math..... NOTE: if there is any disagrement please post sufficient evidence, keep in mind i just felt people should know that providing ample power doesnt just pro-long battery life also bear in mind i persoanlly tested all rates of power between 100 and 700(vid#1/vid#2) and it has gradually increasing performance peaking at vid#2(well actually adding another 100 is just a lil better but not very noticeable) (apologies for the weird blue box, im unfamiliar with FRAPS -.- if any one knows hot to remove it please shoot me a memo :) thx) video with 100 input 500 output weapon 200 output drive: video with 700 input same outputs: for those of you that are unfamiliar with the math.... study this table well: http://beetlebros.gametechmods.com/ra2stats.htmwell there ya have it.... please feel free to post any discretions you may have.
