Hey everyone! After a long hiatus from the forums, I'm back with a robot that is supposed to be IRL realistic. (for a tournament) I realize that there are no weapon supports and for the tournament I'm entering, I cannot use the titanium sheet. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

I apologize for asking this question, but this will be my first tournament and I don't know how to go about sending in my robot as an entry. I assume it's through a PM but I don't know how to attach the file.

For your next bot, see if you can come up with something cool or original- that's where the real challenge/fun of stock comes in!
Well, I'm not sure if this concept is original or not. I know there are vertical spinners that are somewhat similar, but I think this one is a kinda unique. The rule of 7 messed up some of my plans that would have let the chassis be a little smaller. Anyway, here is my new MW vertical/horizontal spinner thing. Advice is more than welcome. 12 razor tips, 6 on each tribar extender. One supervolt battery.

Well after almost 2 years, I'm back on the Gametechmods forums. I never really left, just didn't have much to post. After reading up on the Beetlebros website and this forum, I decided to get back into Stock building. I've been building for years but am just learning the concepts that make robots competitive. Here are 2 versions of my middleweight popup which were meant to meet the requirements for a Pyscolone Popup. The bots are relatively similar but the chassis' are slightly different. Any advice would be appreciated. Ignore the horrific paint job. An overview of the first version of my MW popup. First version of my MW popup. 8 razors, 2 stacked Supervolts, 3 DDT's and DSA armor. Just short of being a HW. Second attempt. Smaller chassis, 1 DDT replaced with a Snapper, 9 razors on stacked 20cm extenders. More compressed weapons. Same armor, drive, and batteries.

My bad NFX, will change that. I don't like this one as much since I barely get any OOTA's. It flips great, but not in the right directions. It also stands up on its back very frequently when I use the flipper. It's nearly impossible to get back on the ground so that I can drive.

Larger Chassis, 7 ants, and titanium wedge and flippers. I think the armor is still steel 3. If not, it was digressed back to aluminum 3 when I made a new chassis.

I really like the ideas! Well, the new ideas saved a ton of weight. The new issue is that its unrealistic since the flippers collide. Although this idea could be made IRL, it is unrealistic to DSL I think. Steel 3, 5 ants, and same everything else.

Same bot, smaller chassis, 5 ants, steel 3, to 100cm x 40cm panels on the motors. Motors are now on ME's. Works a lot better now for some reason!

Surprisingly, I've fought 50+ fights with this thing so far and it has NEVER havoked. I'll still change it though. Anything else? The wedges don't get under too much on NAR AI, even though most bots have the same wedge setup :/

Finally got NAR AI! So happy! Anyway, here's my first decent LW flipper. 5 ants, hypnos, titanium 3 armor, and 20 100cm x 40cm black panels for the flipping. The motors do not intersect with the wheels, making it realistic. The wedges are this bots main issue.

Nary, it's an old bot that I just used for an example to show which bots havok. Any other advice other than what's been said already?

I need help with something other than a Lightweight bot for once! All 9 of these bots almost always Havok at some point during the battle. I am running DSL 2.1 normal AI. Is havoking avoidable? Anyway, help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The position of the skirt hinges wont let me have bigger wheels than technos. I could move the top skirt hinge back, but then there would be a lot of exposed chassis.

Suicide Bomber
you wanna know what's hilarious? someone on DC just posted a bar spinner (like yours) with the exact same name. Lol.
Haha that's too funny? Where is it? Can I have the link? I wanna see that! I wonder if they copied or if it was coincidental. Any advice on Ramp To Heaven?

Well my first MW post. The bot that failed in the 2 Legit 2 Quit Tourney. Please help me! aluminum 3, 2 ants, npc fasts, techno wheels, can't move upside down, um 120 cm angled titanium pannels on hinges for the front wedge. (The cursor is the front) Plenty of weight left over, and help would be greatly appreciated.
