Its only got 10mm steel because I set all bots to 10mm steel so i know i can have my pick of armour, and then add extra weapons if i have weight left over.

yeah, about 520, with 10mm steel armour...
tbh, i dont think HW should be from 400 to 800, maybe 550 to 800, but oh well, what can you do, eh?

Right, well, ive completely redone Kaotika again, replaced the Beta with a Piston-enhanced JX Burst, and gone 2WD with NPC's, and Tit skirts on the front, polycarb on the back...  I saw one of Naryar's that was a lot like this, and based this off of it, so the design is basically one of Naryar's, with some differences (basically how the skirts are mounted, really.

hmmm, k. I was using Ants because i needed to keep the front end down when the hammer fired, but i might just switch back to DSL Hammer 3, and use those bat configs, and a bit more armour...
Although theres still too much free space in the chassis, so that could be cut down, i guess. Only problem witht that is that it removes all the components. I wish there was a way to edit chassis size without removing the components, I wonder if theres a 3rd party tool that does that?

 Ive got 17 ant bats, there... cant fit anymore, unfortunately... A CO2 powered version would be sweet..... I might try a crusher-style bot... *dreams of Razor* *EDIT* Talking of Razor, the one in the DSL mod, is a mix of two versions, the Srimech was added at the same time as the front wedge was added, IIRC, and the wheels where changed, too....

right, ill probs stick some armour on the front then, either titanium halfplate, or something... Cheers for all the Info, didnt realise Ant batteries actually affect balance, I knew the others didnt, from trying to use them as such... I didnt realise multi extenders could be mounted on the baseplate, either... Right, ill go stick the heaviest hammer possible onn. Actually, strike the above, ill just rebuild it with that info in mind, heheh, cheers  Expect more screenies of KaotiKa 2.0 ina bout half an hour :)

The teeth on the front don't do much, but they look cool. I'd replace the wheels with Hypnos, personally. Or Technos.
yeah, switched to Razor tips, I was actually getting around 40-80 if an bot was pressed up against them, with a bit of sideways movement, and ive gotten 100-ish in a ram (speed is alright with the NPC's, i cant remember if theyre fasts or not, though) It turns ridiculously fast, and having switched to the spring beta motor, it really does lift the front end up when its fired....

just fyi, i tend to use that paint scheme on all my bots, its a base black, with blood red edges, and HnV crud&scratches, with a "Kill" Decal near the front/around the weapon.
I like it, its simple, yet not just plain solid-coloured...
Yeah, ill post the insides in a little bit, its nowt special, probably over-bat'd, but its got some ballast in the front to keep it down when the weapon swings...

Right, heres a better image of KaotiKa  Thats the geared version of the beta, btw, hence the disc, didnt think to save weight by mounting the rod via is perpendicular mounting point....

This is currently my only purely mine bot, a lot of the rest are based off of bots in AI packs, with things modified.
apparently the upload wont let me upload the standard screenshot format, and i dont have any decent editing software that doesnt take half an hour to load, other than paint (although I did say decent)
And for the record, im 21 in december.
