General Support / RA2 Painting Problems

First post here and just want to say thanks for all the help so far. Just downloaded the game today and had a problem with a grey screen at load up. After reading a few posts I fixed the problem with the 1.3 patch and copying the UI file. Now I have a new problem I cant seem to find the answer for.
I cannot seem to paint or texturize my bots. They always appear plain white. Any help would be awesome.
