But you didn't mention about th batteries. If one of our (mine or racecarlock's) ideas happen, it would change the game forever. But I highly doubt that it will happen. That's why I said "what I said with more detail". But these are impressive ideas and i'm sure they will be considered and possibly added to the game, and if the official developers won't do it, we could ask some of the more advanced modders to attempt it.

The game's online access is also messed up if its torrented... But it may depend on your source. You might get low respect via that method btw. Naryar and venko probably disagree with you on that one gigafrost. But I can see that you and I are the mature ones. Not the only mature ones, but still. I've even seen ACAMS freak out. (ACAMS please don't )

(whistles downward) There goes the law out the window. But seriously, just get the game instead of using a torrent. Especially if it causes problems. If there's still trouble, then you do need a new graphics card. But the torrent itself is the most likely source. Just get the real game, or mabye PM one of these guys for their list of underground software contacts or warez nodes.

Someone should find out a way to make it so that saws and hammers and stuff like that actually go through the shell, and can hit batteries and stuff, and if a battery is hit it is disable, but the control board still takes hits when you have alot of damage, it coudl just affect motors and batteries. That's what I said except with more detail.

Hey guys. I've been a member here for a while, but I left sometime in '06. I just recently downloaded RA2 (from here), and upon installing and running I notice it's full of graphical errors everywhere. (see attachments) I haven't installed any mods yet. The game crashes when I attempt to start building bots.
I'm running Vista with an NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 graphics card.
Is this a problem with my graphics card? The torrent? Any suggestions are appreciated. This is why you don't use torrents, the either suck, don't work properly, or fill your computer with viruses. This one just doesn't work correctly. JUST DOWNLOAD AND BUY THE GAME. It's not that hard, really.

You didn't install it correctly....YOU MUST EXTRACT TO AN EMPY FOLDER AND MOVE BY HAND YOU MUST USE THE DOWNLOAD VERSION (unless you have the pirated download version) Do not use any other custom components with DSL....you are defeating the purpose Ok ok. But I'm not asking for what defeats the purpose and whatnot. And I am using the download version and I did extract the rar into a dsl2 folder into robot arena 2, then copied by hand. I'm asking why I can't get into the team details because I want to import and export bots and such, because doing so causes robot arena 2 crashes the game. And I could before I installed dsl.

All I can say is follow the EXACT instructions on the gametechmods DSL link... ACAMS constantly stressed it in the past. Also, note that DSL does not run with any other "installed mods". You must have a clean Robot Arena 2 folder to install DSL upon.
Which version are you using btw? I'm using the downloaded version. I use some bbudc components but I don't think that's what's preventing me from accessing my team details. It shouldn't be, I mean, the acid spike works perfectly in the arena.

I wanna see one where once the armor's out it doesn't automatically constitute control board damage. You should first have to get through the shell, therefore making immobilization the primary form of victory (like in the real battlebots and robot wars).

Luckily I made a backup of my RA2 before using this mod. It's an awesome mod, but in the team hq menu, I select a team, click continue, and the application "encounters an inconvenience" (crashes to desktop with an inconvenience error). This makes me mad, because now I can't import or export bots. Please help. Thanks.
