hate to rain on your parade but entering ring spinners has only been allowed in IRL style tournies as they break the rules of a normal dsl tourney (yeah odd i know) and nobody has made an irl tourney in a while. if you want something that is similar though you can make a SnS with a static ring around the chassic with the wheels axle loaded on and that's dsl tourney legal.
Ah, wellp, I can only hope that the dsl rules change soon or you're wrong. Here is the updated non-stacked build. Still can't figure out a name for it.

Nice, pretty bot!

Technically, ring spinners are allowed a pass, seeing as the design would be possible IRL, but aren't within the confines of the game. It's the "stacking batteries/control boards inside the motor" that makes it illegal.
I recommend making the chassis circular in order to put the control board and batteries in the chassis without stacking, and then going from there. Have fun!
Yep! Wow, okay!~ since there seems to be a rule to exempting ring spinner mechanisms I'm going to re-make it in a manner that would be legal for DSL tournaments. I prefer to make non-circular chassis built around the components inside as there is too much wasted space and a large hit box for anything circular.

looks cool but is illegal in pretty much every way in DSL-S
Yeah, the RA2 engine isn't very friendly with ring spinner designs at all.

It's been a while since I posted and probably 10 years since I posted a DSL Bot. :P Since my ASD series is not legal for battlebots or any RA2 tournaments I decided to make something more realistic. Here is my ring spinner concept Medium bot Defenestrator. This bot is a Ring spinner that can drive inverted as well. Due to this bot being a proof of concept it does use stacked and clipped components.

They do when your current plugs are 40 years old.
Lol, that means your car is broken. I work at a grocery store. Perhaps it isn't a splendid job, but that's what you get around here if your 18.
You've gotta move to somewhere else then lol.... Ah, didn't realize they made the Daytona through the 80's, now I see that it shares body styling with the Camaro of that era.
But it doesn't share the important part (the RWD).
Logic disconnect, Trans Am = Camaro SS / Z28 It's like I'm really on /o/.
The secret is... You never really left /o/

Plugs can affect a vehicle if they are filled with carbon build-up, aren't gapped properly, or have been fouled.
Either way, you're both faggots. I have two lawnmowers that produce more torque than either of your vehicles.
Ever seen a lawnmower drag 6000 pounds over 200 feet from a dead stop?
Tractor Pull? Pix? Hp/Torque? :D Video?

Lol Noodle, you are made of fail. No matter how many parts you put on your LTD, it will still be weak as sh**. Besides, I wasn't talking about the exhaust on the Corvette, why would I put a nice exhaust on a slow car?, Look up what happened in the late 70s and early 80s, and you might learn something about automobiles during that time.
Why are you so focused on my Corvette like I care about it doesn't run? My Trans Am easily doubles the horsepower let alone milage you have on your slow ugly as sh** POS transportation. Anyways, I don't have any hate for the car you drive unlike yourself who seems to hate everything, but I do feel sorry for it because an internet failtroll like yourself drives it.
Lol? Plugs? plugs do sh** for horsepower.
P.S. Working at Mcdonalds doesn't count as a job.

And it's made mostly of plastic and driven by the kind of people who pay for xbox live with welfare c. That, and it doesn't have sofas for seats.
Speak for yourself, the car you got is driven mostly by old people and those who are unable to afford any newer cars and is more valuable as scrap metal. If you care so much about horsepower and torque so much like you did earlier, why didn't you get yourself a respectable old car that people actually like looking at such as a classic muscle car like a Barracuda or a Challenger? Then you can brag your car looks nicer and has more HP than mine and I would agree. That your Corvette is a joke. There isn't much to prove, though, if you have an adequate knowledge of cars.
And apparently you still don't know the difference between exhaust components let alone a decent short term memory for how much power certain engines put out. Too bad you have the ugliest kind of C3 Corvette. If you wan't a car that's slow and good looking, at least get one that's designed to be slow and good looking.
You know, like mine.
Your car is Fugly and something that old people with no sense of style drive. It wasn't designed to be slow and good looking, it was designed to be a car and it fails pretty badly at that. If you want something that is designed to be slow and good looking, get a parade float, though I don't think your momma would be able to afford one of those for you. Or maybe you just like ugly cars but I don't know, so here is a picture to remind you of how ugly it is.

Your firebird can eat my sh**. (Image removed from quote.)
Lol, that's a dinosaur, and a ugly one at that. I do have another car, but it doesn't work atm and is sitting in my garage waiting until I can get a working motor for it. Here's the pic of it though.

1982 corvette collectors edition. The last generation of classic corvette.
>lol ur car sucks >I have a 1982 Corvette that doesn't work
Just FYI, my dinosaur has about the same power output as your asthmatic Corvette (30 more ft-lb, 30 less hp), and that's without the 4-barrel carb I'm gonna put in it. That, and it's got two sofas in it for seats. All that, plus the fact that it actually works.
*facepalm My Trans am puts out has 240 more hp and 190 more torque based off of the numbers you listed. What are you trying to prove? Besides, the corvette is just for looking nice, C3 corvettes are slow.

No, a sport exhaust is just a longer manifold. The silencer ends up lengthways across the back, pointing to the side, rather than pointing straight out the back.
I'm guessing sport exhaust = long tube headers? Is there any reason not to get them?

At least he didn't get a fartcan and paint the hood black to make it look like carbon fiber.
cherry bomb = fartcan
*facepalm
I hope you know the difference between manufacturers and products lol.
It's not glasspacks btw.
Also, at least it isn't an Oldmobile.
Hey, at least the Oldsmobile doesn't make me look like I pay for groceries with foodstamps.
But it does make you a douchebag that is jealous of anyone else who has a nicer car apparently.
Not really jealous bro, I've had more than enough opportunities to buy cars like yours and have turned them down because I'm looking for something that isn't a pile of slag and plastic.
Sadly, everyone in Lancaster is an inbred retard who doesn't know how to reply to emails or text messages, so finding a good car that I can actually contact the buyer of has been difficult.
Just out of curiosity, your profile says you're 12 years old, do you actually drive? P.S. all cars newer than the 1930s have steel and plastic in them nowadays, no avoiding that.

I've been playing this game for a bit on and off, not too bad at it actually. Always been a fan of Starsiege: tribes so it was only natural that I played this game. Kind of wish they continued the mech combat Starsiege storyline, but the ending pretty much wrapped up the entire series. My in-game name is DrGenocide, add me and hit me up if you want to kill some stuff.

Oh, that's right.
Steering wheel lock?

« on: June 08, 2012, 07:00:56 PM »
My car's gonna need a security system of some sort...I was considering just taking the wheel off as I get out. That'ss show 'em, especially as they'll need a special boss to mount any wheel to the steering column.
Or just unplug the distributor. I love having such an easy car to modify.
Quick release steering wheels, FTW. Like in racecars, man...
Not exactly quick-release, but easy to unbolt from the steering column. I might end up just taking the starter motor out, see what they'd do then. Especially as my rear bumper doesn't have a hole for the turn-over handle.
Why not a kill switch or a stealth kill switch like this one. http://www.emergingent.com/subpage3VandalAlert.htm

Besides, I'm pretty sure just the exhaust alone on my car could buy a nicer car than what you drive. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v516/MAIFrcrft2000/Cars/Trans%20Am/Untitled.jpg
