Hey, I'm basicly part noob so I know how you feel not know what to do.
1.Download the 1.3 patch(offical) and install it (just run the program[not RA2 the patch installer it comes with]), 2.if oyu want DSL I suggest makign a second copy of RA2(after patching) and then installing it (3. follow ACAMS instalment instructions E X A C T L Y or it won't work).
Also online multiplayer is basicly dead, but if oyu want to play online that doesin't effect anyone(well except you, because you'll be playign with someone... ou know what I mean).

Sorry about this I got some more questions

Is that the patch on the offical RA2 website

What's DSL and how do I make a second copy

Where would the ACAMS instructions be

I have just started Ra2 and realise i am a noob but I dont know anything about multiplayer, what to download or anything. Please could someone post the basic instructions how to?
