Wonder if the democrats are gonna push for a fairer voting system now that the current system is working against them. The 2 party system needs to be dismantled for candidates that actually care about the people to come through.
The Republicans would never allow it to change, considering the current Republican president won because of the electoral college. Any future government may rely on the electoral college getting them in, too, so I doubt a Democrat would put it on their manifesto.
Either way, the Electoral College is to democracy as clear tape is to a broken vase: it works at least partially as intended, but not well enough to justify its continued existence.
It worked extactly as intended man, one of the main points behind it is so smaller states don't get totally drowned out by the larger ones. Attempting to remove it would be almost inpossible as you have to force all the prairie states give up even more of already small voice they have in the election (by themselves, that is. When they all group together its another story I guess). While the college isn't that great, it's hard to find another solution that would protect the minority right of the smaller states (This also raises the question if those states should even have minority rights).

The gap from New Hampshire (94%) right now is less than a thousand. Anyone who voted for Harambe, Cthulhu, Zoidberg, Goku, or Sonic could have given her just even the much-needed 4 points. The gap in Michigan is around 15k. The gap in Wisconsin is less than 30k. The gap in Pennsylvania is less than 70k. That's 50 points that could have swung the election around.
Yeah and like I said before, the amount of people who can vote but didn't (like over 80 millio nationwide) far out numbers meme votes man.

so I'm laying all of the blame on the protest voters on the swing states. More than 10,000 woke up, had breakfast, got dressed, went out, stood in line, then voted for ****ing Harambe. dae dank maymays grab her by the pussy crooked hillary xD
If you are going to try to blame anyone, at least pick non-voters as I'm pretty sure at least over 35% of those who are able to vote and who didn't make a hell a lot more difference than like a couple thousand (thats being generous) votes for harambe. or the electoral college itself, since it looks like clinton will win the pop vote.
