Discussion / Re: What do you like in a bot ?
« on: February 20, 2010, 01:59:24 AM »
I feel like Naryar is trying to profile us for a dating site or something. Seriously, what's next? What style do you look for in a builder? Defence, balance, or offence?

Discussion / Re: Importance of RA2

Most of my time has always been spent on the EA Sports NHL franchise for XBox. I also play Left 4 Dead and Halo, but RA2 is pretty much my only game for the PC.

The States are kicking ass right now.

Medal Standings:
1) USA 20
2) Germany 13
3) Norway 10
4) Canada 8
5) France 7

The British reporters seem awful butthurt for whatever reason. Could someone please shed some light onto the reason for this?

After day 1 of the medal rounds, the USA is tops with 4 medals (1G, 1S, 2B), and South Korea is the only other country with multiple medals (1G, 1S). The Netherlands, Switzerland, and Slovakia are 4, 5, and 6 all with a gold medal, and Canada, Germany, and Poland all have a silver. I'm loving the 4 channels of round-the-clock coverage we're getting here :D

I liked flamethrowers before JoeBlo even knew about RA2 :P

Ah, so you've liked flamers for a while then... I see.

Shhhh, I don't think anybody else caught the joke.  :gawe:

Neither do I. Let's see how long it takes them :P

Already a death : (

http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-olympics-luge13-2010feb13,0,73618.story

I have seen the video. It is not possible to put into words quite how it looks. All I can say is that Canada has offered its sincerest condolences to his family and friends, the country of Georiga, and the World. Personally, I have absolutely no idea why there was a fixed structure there that could be hit. There should have been either a wall, plexiglass barrier, or any form of netting to prevent something like this. It was a stupid, stupid oversight on behalf of whoever designed the track, and it should never have happened.

I hope that this does not ruin the Olympics, even though it is a massive stain. Let us proceed with the upcoming weeks, and cheer our nations on, urging them to succeed at all of their events.

Anyone old enough to remember Crossfire?
(Image removed from quote.)
Great game!

I had the gereric knock off called "Sonic Zoomers," which, in retrospect, sounds like some 60's porno flick. The last time I played it, a disc somehow took flight and hit me in the eye. My parents then donated it to the salvation army, where it could murder more poor, helpless eyeballs of children.

I'm working on some stuff for this. Balancing speed, power and the weight of the huge and awkward chassis is much hardeer in practice than in theory though...

I'm reading this topic as "the deadline for entries is April 1st." Hopefully I can have another strong run at the title.

Yup, this is the Rolo we all came to love... everything he touches goes up in flames :D

I kid, I kid. I don't remember well enough or I haven't quite been around for long enough to remember the glory days of Rolo v. SpyGuy.
