yes because otherwise the weapons will stick out and the bottom ones wont do anything and it will suck

as for the weapon, you could try a slightly offset piston with poly extenders and change the middle two angled steel skirts to straight ones and get some light ds teeth on the beater bars. use the 4 ap's of the extender apart from the one directly on the piston, it should work
