Who the  said you should only enter bots for "FUN" in tournaments, and that entering to win is a bad thing ? I'm going to punch this guy in the face right now.
What is problematic as a builder, however, is that you are entering a cheap clone of a design without thinking much, instead of coming up with an interesting, original design.
It would be alright if you attempted to IMPROVE the design, but since it's actually worse, the point is moot.
You didn't created or innovated on this design, therefore you have no right to spam it in tournaments.
The idea of bots being built to win being "cheap ass" is discrediting to virtually any effeciency builder. Bumble Bee is arguably cheap but it's still a good bot and well developed, likewise with virtually every flail SnS and so on that people whine about. So yeah, give it a rest Marty.
Coming from the guy who has single handedly made me bored of my own tourney....

It's people like you who ruin tourneys. Instead of entering for fun, with the offchance to win, you enter a cheap ass bot that's highly likely to win and kill all of the fun of the tourney and make the hosts life dull.

With Devestator, is this the kind of thing you were after?  (that's upside down btw) You'll want to move the piglets to the outer AP's of the angled skirts, and then it should be fine. If you were cloning, you've done a good job, and if you built that yourself without even seeing that or something similar before, then

But the first flail ram I ever saw was Mike's ReActive and he built it before ty4er even joined GTM. :P
Hence why the first one ty built was called ReActivity, I think. But yeah ty made it popular, and I can't blame Mike because he's awesome. xD

1. Mods. Something for me to actually do that's different. 2. Because I only really comment in the showcase section and tournaments, and the showcases haven't been that active lately. 3. Showcases and Tournaments. 4. If I like one or more of the bots involved, yes. Otherwise, no. 5. I've entered it once, and I think my splash skills showed I shouldn't. 6. Lets see.. 123 AI, NAR AI, SC4, Inf AI, Pys AI, Stock BBEANS AI, the AI for my tournament and my own little AI pack going on. Might dl a IRL pack and have a IRL DSL game instead of lumping all my IRL bots on one team of my standard.. 7. Both, but primarily DSL. 8. Couple teams in Nar AI, a really awful bot type that nobody builds, a tournament that will be finished, a more interesting tourney idea afterwards (if I feel like it), and I want to think general good advice giving in showcases and a few interesting bots.

Now fellas, making ty change his bot now is among one of the most stupid ideas going. He's a good buider- he's seen the splash, and if I were him I'd just build a bot to counter everything there and get an easy win.
Its not like it makes much of a difference, there's still a 400hp motor to knock off.

and the front looks a bit..... narrow to me, maybe move the battery up between the snappers
He does have DSA :P His plastic surgery was the face narrowing xD Shoulda said face remodelling xD I had to narrow the front to get weight for everything.

Loving the flail SnS and the unbalanced components....
Also, sorry nicsan, but the splash....it's not great.
Generic on the other hand looks fairly wide open. From what I can barely see..
