Marty and madman's bots were sent in the thread. I got them and approved them, but I forgot to put them in the actual places.
I'll sort it out right now. Hahaha. Bravo Freeziez! IRL, if you missed a spot, you wouldn't be complaining, so anyone who missed it needs to suck it up. I might change the brackets next season, but for right now I can't help you guys. Topic locked until I get the spots sorted. 964
Tournament Archives / Re: Battlebots 5« on: December 03, 2011, 07:30:51 PM »Well, seeing how you claim you have no external life to this forum, you CAN go up to 128, right ? You know, there's moderating, and then there's being a complete dick. 965
Tournament Archives / Re: Battlebots 5« on: December 03, 2011, 07:23:27 PM »not for freeziezNext time, double the placesDon't you think 128 bots in one tournament is a bit now what's that supposed to mean 966

[bawww]Are you serious? This isn't vigilante, it's you being a crybaby just because we don't do what you want. This forum used to be fun.[/bawww] On topic, I do want to enter this if I can effectively sift through the components. 967

HOLD ON A SECOND
I just realized ty4er is already in LW, so the spot will instead go to R080. 968
Tournament Archives / Re: Battlebots 5« on: December 03, 2011, 06:32:26 PM »
All spots filled somehow already!
The only bot left to worry about is Hard Bot's LW. If he doesn't send an update by Monday afternoon, ty4er gets his spot. 969

Nobody who sent their bot early gets a spot, they will have to resend.
Anyway, this needs to be moved to signups since I can't do it myself. 972
Tournament Archives / Re: Battlebots 5« on: December 01, 2011, 06:26:02 AM »Sorry about signups guys, I didn't realize All-County Band auditions had an hour-and-a-half line.Whoops, I just sent my bots -_- That'll do. 973

Signups will be up later today. 974
Tournament Archives / Re: Battlebots 5« on: November 29, 2011, 05:55:22 PM »As soon as all you cock monglers stop caring so much about winning and more about the spirit of building an IRL bot, this tournament will be awesome. A bot that will put on a cool show or just looks like it could actually be something that was real is 10x more interesting than all of you with the mentality of "hurr check out this hs I built, so irl it only has 2 sledgehammers and its a lightweight. Not to mention that high tech floating axle and my sweet hinge wedges!" or all of you that enter quasi-nar ai dsl bots. In reality, all IRL comes down to is weapon weight, which was why Urjak raped the heavyweight division and preytors bot was so successful, not how the bot would actually function if this was an actual competition. Not to mention that some just totally ruin cool looking bots with all this emphasis on wedges. Not one of my bots I've built has even used a skirt hinge for wedges even though they could have been a qft 975

DSL TC Showcases / Re: Naryar's DSL Evil Overlord's Showcase - IRL SHALL BE SLAIN BY MY HANDS« on: November 29, 2011, 05:11:02 PM »The IRL building style deliberately ignores efficiency to make a bot look like a real life one, spams fail weapons everywhere (but not too much !!1!!!1one!) and generally makes awful fighters. Not all bots that aren't efficient are awful. I think you're just jealous because you can't build IRL. ![]() 977
DSL TC Showcases / Re: Naryar's DSL Evil Overlord's Showcase - IRL SHALL BE SLAIN BY MY HANDS« on: November 29, 2011, 04:45:41 PM »Freeziez did not explicitely said we should build IRL for BB5, right ? He said bots should be very realistic and should look like real life designs.- Realistic Rule applies very strongly, IT MUST BE FOLLOWED. Yes. 978
