RIP3 prototype. Started out trying to get two 60kg hammers on an LW VS, and it turned into this thing, which I have named Sundancer. (Image removed from quote.)
I'm assuming thats a perm 132- because in trying to make a LW VS with a perm 132 I've practically cloned this :P
Yep. 8000 HP please. =D Perm 80 is not as powerful, and 20 times weaker.

More RIP3 prototyping. My take on the LW Flamethrower everyone seems to be trying. NPC Normals, 2 ants, Large air tank. Only Tite 1, though, and as per usual the wedge is notoriously average (WHY MUST MY WEDGES FAIL). Teeth also make it invertible, along with being able to cause damage while trapping. MW VS with Plastic 3 and 3 ants. Razors there to help fend off HS slightly, and it's very damaging, but it's not stable enough for my liking. Also doesn't self-right well enough, but it's beaten most of NAR AI 2.7. Random CF extender on the back because I had weight left.

It's an improvement, definitely. But if those are NPCFs, that's going to be very unstable. I'm also concerned it'll flip itself over on a hit. You can keep it as a LW, swap the LDS teeth for razors, and you could get a few more on. Make sure to angle a few upwards and downwards for increased stability. Rubbers could be traded for Hypnos as well, and that would leave you a bit of weight to perhaps get Tite 3 on there. It's a good baseline for improvement.

Damn, that looks nice. How stable is it?

Looking like a pretty solid competitor. I'm wondering if the wedge is to do with the slightly downward angle of the Firestorm flippers, or the VS' gyroscopic nature.

Is it a piglet in the LW?
Looks like a TWM3R to me. VS looks effective if a little flimsy. LW should do alright, provided it can remain stable. Should prove tough to KO with all that underside work. Nice.

Nicely done there. I like that tail especially. Not entirely certain about the exposed motors, but I suppose they work.

It's fine to have that many images, yeah. If there are quite a lot, or if they're quite large, then you may want to put them in spoiler tags.

I think they're 12,000HP, provided they're normals. But it should be quite annoying, not too sure about anything else apart from that, though.

Try the V4a Tempus Fugit. =P
I would probably move the motor forward myself, but you need to make sure it doesn't strike the ground as you do.

Looks pretty cool. Should be able to really stand up to a beating, though, defense over attack, Valid Query 2 principles. I approve.

Nonsense. This is Naryar's theme, in my view.

Something that's occured to me recently, what with how often accounts with 0 posts get deleted when ACAMS cleans up the servers to get rid of bots and such. In the chatbox two days ago, a new member called Dark Side posted a few times about SHW/UHW bots and a DSL install problem, but his profile still says he has 0 posts, which means he'll get deleted when the bot sweep comes around. Marty informed him that he needs to post in the main forum or his account will be deleted, but he doesn't appear to have done that so far. I know that's just one member, but it strikes me how many other members we may have lost in a similar fashion. I'm wondering setting a minimum posting amount, e.g. 10 posts in the main forum, before the chatbox becomes available on the front page will help prevent potential new members being lost in that fashion, as they'd have to post in the forum to get their problems solved to begin with, or just say hecko and such. It'll also give other members more of a chance to get them up to speed on the ins and outs of being a member here, as not everyone c the chatbox terribly often, if at all. Not sure how it would be implemented, I'm not very up on the inner workings of a forum like this one, but I'm just wondering if it might work. =)

A bit better. You could definitely stand to shrink up the chassis a bit more, though, and always use an ME as opponsed to a BA like this. It does the same job for 1kg less, which can make a world of difference, especially at this weight level.

what does central time mean? the "local time" of GTM?
Pretty much. Central time is 6 hours behind Greenwich Meridian Time, so you just need to compare it to whatever your own time zone is. For example, when it's midnight Central time, it's 6am where I am.

S_M's bot is DSL realistic. Which is legal. It's only the MW's that had to be IRL. But I reckon the two bots per member thing with only 16 entries was a big setback. Because it seems as thought people have just thrown together two bots for the sake of getting two bots in. I'm also seriously disappointed with how my match went. I can understand that he had more powerful drive motors than me, but I have no idea how he managed to kick me up so easily, plus the match was pretty much over for me as soon as we got to the electric fence. I hate hazards dictating the outcome of a match.

Second one, since the wheels don't get sliced through. =P
Really depends on how stable it is, and how much the weapons drag across the floor.

Looking pretty good. I can't remember if jugglers were actually banned or not. Depends on how good the wedges are.
Is that also a Pac-Man skin?

Oh, and if GK bracket-swaps me again, I'll give him a Chinese Burn
It's Urjak you need to worry about this time. Since his first season championship, GK appears to have dropped in the rankings a little bit. But with my reserved spot, I am hoping to best Squirrel_Monkey's entirely predictable entry. =P Also, madbow's doing reasonably well. 6 matches, 6 losses. At least he's consistent.

Star Wars this time. Darth Naryar looked at his master while his Prudent breathing filled the room. He was told to go to Plunge evrything on the planet of Obsequious. He got in his Cheese and jumped to hyperspace. Soon before he reached the planet, he dropped out of hyperspace and was attacked by Rebel Herrings. He Patched them off and continued to the planet`s surface. He landed and confronted more opposition, slicing it down with his Button. He used the Clicker to choke another Rebel, then Cooked him aside. He finished off all life on the planet with a Facetious laugh.
