I am on 'affirmative'. Little kids should know they shouldn't be on the internet, with people who swear...

While I'm kinda on your side, that first point is kinda flawed.. you make it sound like it's the kid's fault for stumbling upon swear words. I don't know many places which have a competent ultra-safe swear filter.

I'm leaning towards affirmative - in today's.. uhh.. "poopy" society, these words are heard so much anyway, it becomes hard to control it at all. There is no censor on spoken word, atleast when you're in proximity.

My theory is it's the list of events used for when you choose "2 players" instead of "4 players" for Event Size in Options.
Theory because I never had to use it.

Must of been a feature for lower-end PCs to not have to fight through rumbles in season mode.

Excellent. :)

Nagi 1 was meant to be incompetent, but I figured it should actually be able to get some hits on bots, but still be very easy to beat.

Sweet on Sunrise and Garrison II.

Here, v2.2.
- Fixed the camera focus
- Nagi 2 replaces the original
- Pincer gets a Razor-style crushing claw along with it's piston pusher
- Stars And Stripes gets a wedge addition
- Sunrise has a slightly lower ground clearance
- The new Garrison II is the same bot, but updated. Stronger spinning bar, slightly lower ground clearance and it's even more stable.

Good job :)

I think Garrison actually has room for improvements. I can make the bar even more destructive, perhaps try and lower the ground clearance too.
Either way, expect even more improvements soon.

Fixed something again, same link. :O

Nice bot Pwn, a lot of power, couldn't get Garrison close enough to the hammers most of the time though. remember to make the rotating joints use different controls. Unless you intended to make it an AI only bot, which then I use keys which people probably won't touch, not Left/Right

Modifications / Re: NAR AI pack releases !
« on: December 13, 2009, 04:27:24 AM »
Heh, building for this pack showed how much better my bots are now.

My AW has consistently done 1000~1400 damage in a single (good) hit, screenshot proof can be given
The BW.. well, it can be dodgy at times, but generally it's a improvement from the already killer Dynamo MK2.
The LW far improves my previous BBEANS 6 title contending design. Might just build something else for the pack

Got nothing else yet, but those higher weightclasses shouldn't be as good.

Hey, it's results. We're finally getting results. Not a video, but we know what's going on, finally.

My problem is the judge's decisions - I could dominate the fight, but still get ratted out by the judges. This is particularly a problem in rumbles. One of the New York tournaments, the one with all of those rumbles, took AGES to get past.

Well... you really need to call for help. A video a week is pretty bad for a tourney with such short matches, but you can't even keep up with that. :|

This. The last match was uploaded at least 2 weeks ago, and I pretty much forgot about this tourney.

This.

Haha, sorry, it sounds so badass when used in that way.

True, those two have quite a bit of power - but the replicas all have reliability problems, which in custom bots you'd be very unlucky to have.

errr is it not possible them no make infinitely strong Armour by doing this ^^^

in which case should it really be something shown ?

I think I will even do BF c in CC3 for Armour.. but it may take a long time

Guess you haven't seen Punchbag.. atleast it's not a tourney-worth bot.
Yeah, it can be done as Clickbeetle hinted at, but it's easy to counter.
You COULD BFE check - or just cycle through the armor types to find one that fits the weight it originally was. (Or a lighter armor type if they were also smart enough to lower the weight/size ratio too, unless none fit.)
