have the snowplows further inwards and rotate the extender holding the fs on by 90 degrees away from the chassis so it is in-line with the snowplows.
no, because the idea behind this bot is because people can still escape the snowplows of RPB, so i rotated the extender holding the fs 90 degrees so that when the opponent is lifted, the upper FS spins down and keeps the opponent in the center of the discs, not allowing the opponent to escape.(besides, i want to make something original for a while!)

Do the snowplows really help like that? Try putting them on the top to prevent bots from going over it.
yeah they do, the upper Face spinners spin downwards, so it acts as a better "snowplow" and about the snowplows, it's to box the opponent when pinning them into the wall so that they don't escape.

hola, anyone?

So yeah, this is the FS i was talking about. This bot has 2 blacks(stacked), and 16 razors on 4 HPz. This bot's wedge is the BEST wedge i've ever built, only loses to Insectoid.

So yeah, if you saw my stock thread, you'll know I don't really go for huge deathmachines with 4 tri-bars and 36 maces to destroy everything it sees in under 30 seconds, but instead opt to try making robots that might actually be feasible 'real-life' competitors.
I've been playing around with DSL this morning and came up with spinning drum robot with a rather unoriginal theme.
hmmmmmmmm......., this is similar to what Thyrus said when he started his DSL showcase. You're destined for awesomeness in making IRL bots kid, i can feel that.

Oh. I think I'll stick to stock. I can't even flip middleweights effectively, let alone take on custom-made tournament winners.
so, Learn! motivate yourself to build bots that can kill even the most deadly custom-made tournament(tourney) winners! btw, if you wanna make a popup, clone(copy) my first ever stock bot(because that bot doesn't have any complicated glitches, like snapper loading or axle loading):

As i said before i'm going to make a brake with the walkers. I miss wheels, motors and specially destruction power. So i designed this one to make me feel better

When we talk about toughness and armor, this one sure beats, by far, all previous armored bots i made. Besides all the obvious armor, the chassis are 5mm steel. Destroying this thing is not an option. It's main weapon shown in pic 3 is powered by a simple burst motor.
>trusts in its armor to damage and wear down the opponents weapons >Slow speed and agility but it's compensated by the armor >Very small for a HW makes it a hard hitter
>Exposed wheels are it's only downside and weak spot
the only advice that i can tell you that wouldn't make nary make me lose rep is to downgrade armor(Steel 5 is overkill) and get plastic 10(or if you want to add more weapons, Ti5) and then get a dual(or even triple, if you can)small metal hinge wedge(metal hinge+flipper segment+small wedge),btw, can we see the insides of the bot?

Oh we are servo boosting on DSL now?
I am fine with it actually. DSL has been dominated by popups, FSS, and FSnS, with spinners such as VS and HS being the underdog. This might actually balance out spinner a little bit.
As long as noone attempt to put a FSS motor on a skirt hinge.... cuz that will havok SOOOO bad it won't even be funny.
yeah.... have to agree with that, but at the smaller weight classes(MW,LW,BW,AW), hinge bursting is more prone to havoking(although, i have made a LW version of Midnight Wave, but at other times(like when i'm trying to make a hinge bursted Final Z clone,it havoked every time i turn and when the bot hits a wall),so, in conclusion, hinge bursting is fine because you're trading higher havok probabilities with a faster weapon.

Basically, they're small mods for Stock or DSL that replace the AI (e.g. Emergency or Sentinel) with much more difficult AI (e.g. Neglected Waterbug (Starcore AI v4 Alpha, or SCv4, stock only) or Hope No More 4 (NAR AI v?, DSL only). For pics and general info on most 'famous' bots, check the RA2 Wiki.)
Edit: Or, in more simple terms, the bots that you fight against are referred to as AI.
AI packs replace these bots with much better bots, such as Neglected Waterbug or Hope No More 4.
The main AI packs;
Stock: Starcore (versions 1-3) medium Starcore (version 4 alpha) hard Inf AI - Very hard
DSL NAR AI (All versions) Medium-Hard depending on what bot you face 123STW AI - Very Hard
There's moar: Stock: PYS AI- medium-hard Restocked- Hard(just a wee bit easier than Inf AI, it's still in beta though so it could be the hardest AI pack when the full version comes up) RFS AI- super easy (intended for people who've just beaten all of the bots in stock AI)

Which is why Emergency is such a to fight then.
hah, Emergency is like nothing, when you managed to climb your way to BBEANS AI(or Starcore V4 Alpha), you'll feel that all of the robots in the stock AI are like noobs

The Legendary Survivor- Get OOTAed at the Electric Arena 2, and then pop right back to the arena, and then KO the opponent.

Why not www.thepiratebay.ee ?
nah, don't need it, cause my parents have agreed to buy it for me(not today though, i can't use my laptop now)

You don't buy it without your parent's permission. Steam also takes PayPal, if that helps. I suppose you could just ask to put some credit on steam, if your parents just don't like audiosurf, or you could get a friend to buy it for you, and gift it to you, then you pay them.
And you can change the background colour in the options.
nah, audiosurf isn't a FPS, so it'll be way easier to ask permission for my dad to buy it.(hehehe, if he plays it i'll bet that he'll use a very easy music...)

1 question, does the audiosurf demo has any differences than the real one?
you are only able to play 5 songs before needing to be re-installed
Yes, that too... You can buy Audiosurf for 10-2.50 euros... I bought it once for 10 euros. Then week later it was -75% sale and I was pissed :P
dude, do you need credit cards to buy stuff on steam?
Yes.
Well.... you obviously don't have a credit card, so how do you buy it without your parents permission?(and does it accept other currencies?) BTW, tried the demo, and i have a question: Why don't i have a cool black background like yours?(BTW the song's title is Chiisana_Mahou, from Stereo pony.

Why would you even do that, that's asking for a train ticket to AGOD central, with a possible havok buffet included.
apparently awesumsauce made a bot with a hinge bursted dual perm without major agod or havok or anything
but i don't think it should be banned because if you can get it to work without agod or havok then you should be allowed to use it, not many bots have bursted motors in dsl anyway
me too: it's V 1.6 though, i made a V2 but i deleted it.
