???

Oh, cool. You guys found my easter eggs earlier than I thought you would.

I left that image in there for a final session of lel's before I set off. ENJOY YOUR LEL'ING.

Apart from that image, each image is from a different person in the GTM community. But which people?

You will never know.

Or care.

(Y'know you could just google the text and find out where it came from but you'd be too lazy for that wouldn't you :P)

Thanks to all of you guys, man. I'll write some more for you dudes I've forgotten.

Squirrel_Monkey: See Craaig.
HurricaneAndrew: Dude, it's been an amazing ride with you. There hasn't really been a standout point with you - you're the normalist of the normies. Take that achievement, and RUN TO THE HILLS WITH IT. <3

You might've noticed that I haven't been around as much as I used to be. TBH, I've just lost 'the spark' to keep going - I feel that I've exhausted my use on this forum. I've made close to 500 bots -

So, I think that's enough for now, no?

I'd like to announce my departure and retirement from this forum. I'm not saying that I'll never come back here - I'll probably pop in once in awhile, as I have been doing recently, and show up when I'm needed. I don't have the ability that people like Naryar have - to do the same thing over and over again with little innovation or change. I'm like the wind - I must keep moving, it's in my nature.

But, before I leave, I would like to present to you one last gift - consider it a sign of our parting. Every robot I have ever made, in a nice little ZIP package with your name on it. Take care with it.

http://rapidshare.com/files/2427039710/FOTEPX%20-%20Everything.zip

Figure I might as well say some goodbyes:

Naryar: You french bastard - keep on rockin'. Despite all our little breakups and arguments, you were always nice to have around.
Jonzu: I've still got you on Skype, so I don't need to say goodbye, do I? :P
Goldenfox: Shame we didn't really spend enough time together to get to know each other. Hope you're doing good.
Ty4er: See Jonzu.
MassimoV: Always had respect for you, dude. you're awesome. Keep being awesome.
Sage: <3
InfiniteInertia: Stop acting like you own the damn forum. You don't. Other than that, meh, you're okay.
ACAMS: As long as you don't run me over with your truck full of beer, <3
Craaig: Dude, you're like one of the unsung heroes of this forum. You're what changed a house into a home. Hats off to you. (that mean more than a <3)
G.K: You were one of the first dudes on this forum who truly helped me become who I am. Hats off to you too.
Daleksec7: For introducing me to the forums, I am forever in your debt. Hope to see you at Roaming Robots sometime!
TeamXtreemer: Is my best friend IRL. I would not have met him and become so close to him if it wasn't for this forum, and if it wasn't for everyone being so damn contempt with us acting like arseholes.
Badnik96: See Craaig.
Thyrus: Thanks for pushing me over the end with all of my IRL projects. Whenever I made an IRL bot, I compared it to your robots - if it wasn't as good as what you made, I didn't showcase it. (Explains why I have close to 500 bots, but not 500 pages, ey!? XD)
Martymidget: See Craaig.
DSC: See Thyrus.
Mr. Awesumsauce: I... I just don't know what to say about you. You're awesome, But you're damn weird. <3
Scrap Daddy: Beautiful, beautiful robots. Everything you did was awesome, and the chats we had when ACAMS was Beta'ing the new layout were ones I'll always remember. THird best member on the forum.
Virus Bomb: See Scrap Daddy, but ignore the ACAMS and third best stuff.
MikeNCR: OH MY GOD. Words cannot justify how awesome you've been, in every aspect of everything. Even though I barely talked to you, I have utmost honor in knowing you, and your robots, be they DSL or IRL. Easily the best member on the forum, until...
123SAVETHEWHALES: My absolute favourite user on the forum. Kind, Caring, awesome robots, awesome times, and easily the coolest cat here. My hat takes off into the heavens on golden wings to you, sir.

To everyone else I've missed, forgotten, or have just forgotten to write about: I have nothing but respect for all of you. All of you have been amazing to be around, and it's been so beautiful, this journey we've had. Even Avalanche, in his own, unique way, is special and meaningful on this forum, and earns nothing but respect from me. I hope to see this forum survive well on into the future, but alas, this is where me and you must part. I don't really want this to end - it's part of my upbringing, you see. You people have mentored my upbringing into an adult, as unhealthy as that is. However, I can't keep holding onto the past forever - I must go, my planet needs me. I hope to see you all in the near future.

Spirited Away. Need I say more?

Well, yes. Yes I do, actually. It's the best bloody anime-movie ever made, period.

Now I don't need to say more.

just put the skirts on a skirt hinge, the multis look ugly.

Excellent name suggestion!

Personally, IDK what to do with this; I'm only good with IRL Mw's now-un-days...

MW, by the way

...Really? THAT'S A MW? That's... scrappish. Add some side armour to protect them wheels, or somethin'. Actually, you've given me an idea. BRB.

This is probably the best match of the tournament, watch the whole thing.

Thanks man :D

I knew Tite 10 would pay off, I just didn't think you'd have such a long spinup time. Less useless crap would probably be helpful XD

Well, TBH, I was thinking of entering a bar spinner multibot into the next battlebots, but Massimov ain't been able to make the BattleBox 4 player yet, which sucks.

Anyways, FOTEPX vs. Marty up, boring, don't watch.

Agreed. Toriodore wins the Louis Spence award for gayest performance.

The only thing I can see myself doing good in is MW. HW, I'm out first round, SHW I got it too easy, and LW... I-I don't even wanna talk about how messy that looks...

In terms of efficiency I'll agree with the above comments ^

But I really like the way it was built. It would be interesting if you could adapt that design into IRL. And that could help you get to the weight limit.

It wouldn't work well IRL. The motors are just far too exposed. A Nightmare-style VS, while overdone, would work better and be more stable than this.

Dude you are building IRL.  Your bot could have look exactly the same on DSL3.

The only major difference is you gotta make room for anchor points.

I know, and that's the part that suuuuucks... >_<

Aah, it don't matter. I've made some DSL3 bots now, I'll show 'em when I get chance. Keep hangin' around! :)

Nonsense. I jumped into DSL3 in 30 minutes while drinking.

And hence, your bot wasn't very good.

This pinion stuff is actually pretty easy... it's just a burst, nothing more.

Really? Well, what's with the AP's on the sides?

Stop trying to find excuses not to build DSL3, at least find us believable ones if you don't want to build DSL3.

When people first started in Backlash, did they build genius straight away? No, it took time. And likewise, this takes time.

Plus, you ain't gonna get jack if you're gonna talk to me like that, buck-o.
