how is the damage calculated in unity? are there points on every component that specify how much damage that component deals or is damagr dealt by pure force? if force is the factor: is there a way to impliment an extra lab for component creating? so you can create coustom flipperarms etc?
There is no built-in damage calculator, it's all up me to make it. Do you know how it works in RA2 - are there any difference between blunt and sharp weapons? And sure, a simple configurable wedge shouldn't be too hard.

Piercing weapons tend to do much more damage than blunt force weapons in RA2, except for sawblades, which tend to do almost nothing.

But if you're trying to make a new platform for a robot game, I wouldn't go by the exact way damage currently works in RA2. RA2's physics are realistic enough, but we tend to have many unrealistic situations. We are actually currently trying to mod RA2 to make the weapons more realistically balanced in the amount of damage they deal.

Sadly there aren't any dirt tracks near where I live. I doubt there's many in CT at all.

There's been a lot of them close over the past 10 years or so. There's a page on Facebook devoted to tracks that have closed called Lost Speedways. According to the page there's only one track left in Massachussetts and it's pavement. I wouldn't think the situation would be much different in Connecticut.

Edit: According to RacingIn.com, you are correct. There is a single dirt track, but it is a 1/10 mile go cart track. There are about 5 pavement tracks though.

one heat gets published every week, just like in Stock version.

DP

With the deaths of Jason Leffler, Tyler Wolfe, and a few other big names in the sport, plus Tony Stewart's season-ending sprint car crash, this season will go down as the most deadly year in dirt track racing for quite some time.

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/motorsports/2013/08/06/sprint-car-crashes-accidents-deaths-2013/2623829

This is an incomplete record as it was compiled in August, and many major happenings occurred since then.

I don't think we have a thread for this and I don't feel like looking at each individual member's profile.

You assign the bots AI. All you need to do is label the controls for movement "Forward" and "LeftRight" and the weapons control will depend. The host can do the rest but if you want to and know how I don't think he'll stop you from writing binding yourself.
Alright. Does the AI work well with ram bots?

There is rammer.py for them. It does the job, but nothing will ever be as good as a human player.
