I am sad. My bot could be so much better but it has too many batteries, I didn't use rubbers, and it had minimal testing. And it's not against an hs. It could've been so much better if I had not built I on the last day. I am going to rebuild it (eventually... :/) but it would be worthless in a non- ironbot tournament.

By interesting, I mean better than the cookie cutter 1.5 mile ovals. The racing may be a bit better but it's the same thing basically 6 or 8 times per year. That's when it gets boring. Pocono is more of a challenge for the drivers and it is very unique.

1. What does this thread have to do with that 2. Another stupid move from Avalanche 3. If HD2010 returns and causes havok, both should be banned. We've put up with avalanches's crap for long enough anyways.

My idea is for something that makes the flipper wider for fonts against HS. It currently is comparatively skinny, and a good HS will knock it aside.

What is Avalanche talking about?

Pocono is one of the more interesting tracks. We need less 1.5 mile tri-ovals. They are all the same! All of the unique tracks deserve dates (Pocono, Martinsville, Bristol, Richmond, New Hampshire, Indy, Daytona, Talladega, Darlington, Phoenix, road courses, and maybe even Dover) We need one more road course also. Tracks like Chicagoland, Kentucky, Kansas, Auto Club, Las Vegas, Texas, Charlotte, and Michigan need to be evaluated and whichever one with the worst racing loses a date.
Edit: adding to that, NASCAR technically runs nearly no ovals, they are all tri-ovals, rectangles, triangles, paperclips, etc.
Also, NASCAR doesn't need 5 road races. We have to remember that NASCAR IS an oval series.

Theres nothing special about it at all. The only thing remotely different is the front, and it doesn't look fast. It doesn't look exciting. It doesn't look fun.
And whats the point of buying any car if you know you aren't going to like it. I would hate that thing if I had one.
What's so special/exciting looking about a bubble on wheels? It's not exotic or streamline looking, it just looks like every other late 90's bubble on the street.
Also, how do you know I'm not going to like it? I already told you I like the way it looks, and it's got numbers on par with an Acura Integra from 6 years later. I don't see what's not to like.
Oh the "you"s in my post were more third-persony talking then talking about you. I think you would like it if you got one, because you're supporting it lol

Its ok, I won't bring GT5 into this. If you want arcade racing, go forza. If you want real sim racing, iRacing is the best option

Generally the standards are better with energy absorbing barriers, etc. but Watkins Glen seems to have neglected that. They made the same mistake Pocono did where you put walls at right angles to where the cars will be heading at them if spun. This year's race had a catch fence but they almost had a car go out in the same race. All they had was a row of trees. Sometimes little hills get installed though ARCA is a lesser series, but if it was main NASCAR, someone would've been killed

I like the SL2 because they actually tried to make it look sleek without making it one of those horrendous bubbles cars in the 90s slowly transitioned into.
I would refer to the 90s more as boxes then bubbles, and sleek=/=good looking in the Saturn's case. It just looks... boring
