This is probably the most effective way to explain why I like Omega Omega Tango Alpha so much:

Looks like I'll have to refilm the fights, so instead of redoing all the matches, just post your fight requests and I'll record them.

Hard to pick a favorite. My top 'bots in no particular order:
Power Mad Seven Year Itch Sawz-All Downward Spiral Omega Omega Tango Alpha Organ Grinder may rejoin the top rankings once I've got some AI for the wedge working, but as is (I removed the wedge for its matches) it was rather disappointing. I need to get myself some video editing software to shrink down the videos, so it'll be a bit before videos show up. If there's any fights that didn't happen that you'd like to see, let me know. 944

Just had an amusing thought. I've now got a ![]() 945

Seven Year Itch In Round 3: Downward Spiral will face Power Mad Closer will face the winner of Voodoo Vs. well, besides the wedge thing and most of my AI bots liking to run right into the central barrier in the BBEANS arena, I've got 22 fully functional AIed LWs.

Working on 'em. Just need to figure out what to do for the hinge wedge on the face spinner, as it just needs to be activated for the first second of the fight to lower to the ground.

Don't have time to learn to AI and AI all the bots. However, if someone really wants to see this happen, I can .rar up the bots and send them to whoever wants to AI them.

Have 21 LW's
![]() If I had an absurd amount of free time I'd AI the lot of them and have my own BBEANS0.6 tourney 953

When's the tourney starting? If it overlaps BBots I'll have to withdraw, as there's no way I'll have time to build RA2 bots.

It's a pop-up. The razors stop at the height shown for realisms sake, so it's about as close as you can get to a realistic pop-up.

Here's a bunch of my other HW's all together.
![]() Some are pretty old and crappy. Most of the HW work I've done lately has been playing around with the flipper setup I used on Smashbox. 956

I don't know much about AIing, but with the way the glitch works, if you only power the two motors at the tip of the Y shape the drive makes they can be used to move forward and backward, but instead of the bot moving with the wheels, it moves with the way the chassis front is pointed.
Best AI logic would probably be spin like crazy, if you start getting counted out, move forward a few feet, then spin back up. 958
DSL TC Showcases / MikeNCR's Bots« on: April 09, 2009, 10:12:22 PM »Quote from: Sage;33623 ah yes. i think its the same concept though... the result is the same, to have the chassis spin. Certainly similar, but the powered vs. unpowered axle thing is a fairly important distinction. I suspect you could combine the glitches to have the power of the tribar/disk motor added to the power of the wheel motors. 959
DSL TC Showcases / MikeNCR's Bots« on: April 09, 2009, 10:05:22 PM »Quote from: Sage;33619 No the extender setup is ugly. If you're talking about the Slidewynder bots, unless I'm mistaken, those have a motor powering the bar/disk that the "Wheels" are attached to. This bot uses broken physics to, as best I can tell, turn the free spinning axle into a motor with the power of 3+ npc fast drives. Slidewynder style bots have been around since the early AU days, though back then people used servo motors for the drive as they didn't seem to care that the chassis was spinning. 960
