Now I'm not saying it was necessarily a bad thing that it lost in Round 1, it's just the way they handled it was what I considered Extreme 2's Dethroning Moment of Suck.

And by destroying chaos 2, 13 black sealed it's spot in the hall of fame!

Well, with chaos 2 destroyed, george francis may have made a chaos 3 (or quazar) for RW series 8! So it's win/win!
What the Hell? So in spite of everything it did, you consider it a good thing that it was destroyed?!

You're whining about losing AGAIN?
And this time you could have prevented it?
*sigh*
Hey, I'm not whining. I was more expressing disbelief at how Nightshade didn't even try to escape.

No idea. But whilst we're on the subject of favourite bots, I wonder what the entries for the next Robot Combat Hall of Fame update will be?
EXPLOSION!
Maybe once it takes on Venom, Beauty 2 and Satan's Mutt all at once and wins, we'll consider

But even still, it's something that's cost me a match I could've potentially won.
But nevertheless, there's still two more entries to face, one of which I will undoubtedly lose to.

Oh, that's a lot better! The wedge could be a little longer, though.

Can anyone tell me why Sparkbutt has not been banned after he made the thread last night?
That was pretty dumb of me.
This is the changing point. Never again will I return to the void off nobehness.
Judging by the last sentence, you failed already

Seriously, what the ? Why didn't Nightshade fight back? When I tested it for that, it was able to get away with no trouble.

Think of it this way. If you are truly a goody-two-shoes and holier than Jesus, you would work your ass off in a crappy job in crappy conditions with crappy pay, donate all your earnings to charity (with an anonymous name), and die a couple of days after because you're too selfless to buy the things you need for survival. :P
I learned that from Blackadder's Christmas Carol

To pass the time, I'm going to give my predictions-
Highlander- This one somewhat reminds me of All Torque- the weaponry looks potent, armour strong, but I think its lack of a wedge could potentially cost it. I predict Second or Third. Nightshade- Although my entry seems to be getting a bit of flack from Nary, I've been able to fine-tune the weapon system so that both the ramming capabilities and the flipper arm can be brought into play, and with the choice of arena, can hopefully allow for some OOTA knockouts. If I don't win, I predict Second or Third. Saint Mary's Church...- Certainly an imaginative name! Anyway, the idea of using Clusterbot flippers was quite inspired, and it certainly looks capable of flipping any of the other three out of the arena. My only concern is the likelihood of the robots flipping themselves over, allowing opponents to potentially exploit it if one of them misses. If not myself, this one is my tip to win. Paddy and Mick- Sorry Paddy, but this one gets the SFTW vote from me. Its weaponry looks somewhat limited for its weight class, and is way too fast for its type to make any effective use for its weapons. Fourth.

Anyway, another robot I disliked was Spikasaurus. Nothing more than a lucky failbot with an egotistical team.

Looks like GF's bot is a flipper. Take a look at the skin.
It's a flipper/popup/rammer hybrid
So where is the popup and rammer part ?
All I see is just a fast flipper.
Cue Nary doing this:
(Image removed from quote.)
No, no.
By the way, we need to find a meme name for this picture.
The popup part is the method by which the flipper works, and the rammer is that ramming plate on the front, which does damage as it crashes into opponents. Also- Highlander and Nightshade are the coolest things I've ever seen.
Thanks! It's nice to see praise from one of the Global Mods
