Nah no worries, it was purely verbal at this stage.
As the deadline is the 11th, didn't know if I could reserve a place now?
I don't think I'm going to worry about reserving spots; things are generally slow enough that you should be able to get a place. And if not, I did manage to get this into the OP: -16 spots (or maybe more if there's a ton of interest)
So I think that gives me some leeway if it does become an issue. Unless you meant that the deadline is too soon? Anyway, glad to hear you're interested in the tournament! Good luck!

Thanks Yugitom!
Already got a bot from RedAce too, and I haven't even set a deadline yet. Speaking of which, I guess I ought to set one, so let's go with three weeks from now.
Good luck building!
Was my sign up not counted haha?
I'm sorry; if you've sent a bot, I haven't gotten it.

Ammunition v Meltdude was brilliant.
Also, judging by the rematch of the finale, I really lucked out.

This is best of 3, right?
Also, gotta warn you: I've been on a sick losing streak lately.

I'm not sure with the new anchors - would it be lighter to use a bunch of extenders rather than one anchor per spike?

and what is BO3
It stands for "best of 3", meaning that you'll do three matches and whoever wins the most matches will win the challenge.

Considering the interest, I'm going to make this a nice and quaint 8-man tournament. However, how do people want me to do the tournament? I really like the idea of a Swiss format (like Round Robin but will end when there is a definite winner) or I could do double elimination. I rather dislike the double elimination format but, if an overwhelming amount of people would prefer double elim, I'll do that instead.
Doesn't matter to me; I'll enter either way.

another Built in a Stock style for Yugitom's upcoming tournament, this is the DSL version of Krastos, the Glue Maker. Weapon setup is not the most efficient, but at least it looks cool.

Edit: As a work around (and what you should probably be doing, anyway), when making a new tournament and you want an opinion poll with it, click 'New Poll' and not 'New Topic'.
Oh, I guess that makes sense. Too late now, though. Looking at the tournament rules thing, I guess I don't need to have a poll anymore, which is good since I can't seem to make one anyway.
I seriously don't understand why this is happening. Just in case you would like to see interest, like I did with Geice (I think), do you want me to make a poll for you?
Yes please, that'd be great.

I'd like to get this kicked off just as soon as Friendship Rumble awards end; any thoughts on it?

So, Friendship Rumble and now this!? Shall we call this Operation: Bait And Switch or Operation: MIND****!
Don't put this and Friendship Rumble on the same level. Friendship Rumble was just a tournament. This is art.

A wild gimmick appears! RULES:BUILDING RULES: -Stock HW (800 kg) - Bots must have a number of powered wheels that is odd and greater than 1. (I'm expecting mostly 3-wheelers, but hey, 5 wheels, 7 wheels, 203 wheels, whatever floats your boat) -Multibot rule: each part of the multibot must fit the above rule. Total number of wheels between the multibots does not matter. -No SnS because they're lame -Bots must show controlled movement -No non-stock components (this includes reskins) -Flamethrower allowed, other cheatbot components are not allowed -AI components allowed -No BFE, AAM, EXP, or whatever other crazy acronym you guys use -Rule of 7 break allowed; other SergePatcher features are not OTHER RULES: -Combat Arena, hazards off (may change on suggestion) -3 minute matches -Best of 1, double elimination -Havok rule: first match-altering havok = restart. Second match-altering havok = forfeit. -16 spots (or maybe more if there's a ton of interest) -I will enter with Sealion Hammersmith (of course): SIGNUPS:- Thrackerzod- RedAce- battledutchman- DeadGenocide- WenXiangLee- Hi5er- R1885- Badger- Botomatic1000- Mystic2000- Green = AIed Black = Accepted Red = Promblem Deadline is July 11th, 11:59 PM Countdown to deadline: Signups over!

I think that was a havok explosion in the first round; it might deserve a rematch.

Tbf, there is no standard 'tournament' ruleset.
I did a search to see if we had defined something as "standard tournament rules" and couldn't find anything, so I just kinda guessed.
