BW poker. It's the same as my other pokers. Probably not going to make an AW one.

BW VS. 4 5kg teeth. Actually does better against HS than you would expect.

SHW popup. 6 Snapper+s, 30 knives and something like pl3. Chassis doesn't actually get hit too often though. It can beat Nuclear Fusion (that SHW SNS I showed off and claimed to "shut down any kind of wedge/gutripper"). Can cause up to 10K damage on a good hit.

OP ass SnS. These things just shut down any kind of wedge/gutripper in ironforge and are generally just way too strong. I don't actually know if stacking baseplate anchors in things is legal or not, but stacking multiextenders in things in DSL was legal, so I assume it is.

123 told everyone building for his mod to make the bots IRL. As a result, TW as a popup is kind of ass.

I wonder if he would let me update the AI on some of my bots. TW doesn't even self-right, and Sergeant along with Suppressor are spelt wrong.

Modifications / Heater Skin Pack

I noticed a few people were complaining that the heater plow/skirts in Ironforge looked tacky, so I whipped up a few skins for the plows and skirts to replace it or at least make it look more pleasing to the eye.

you're listing bots in dsl tournaments now (yeah okay)
Or lack thereof. I don't think I can even remember if there were any non-gimmick DSL-S tournies this year or not. Donut of Destruction might have been one, but it was tabletop.

Either way, DSL-S is old and busted and absurdly unbalanced. Ironforge is the new hotness.

Haven't seen a DSL standard tourney for ages.
Yeah, can't wait to see nothing but popups and flail rammers.

Voted for stock

can't wait to see nothing but HS and popups either!
You mean HS, popups, rammers, SnS, and FG. Not to mention variations of each bot type.

I'll never know how the rushed as hell original game ended up being more balanced than DSL.

(edit: actually, VS are garbo. I don't know why people still make them)

pl5, bot for redace's thing. idk if i can enter it though since it's already claimed

2slow lightning. Just AI'd it earlier today and was planning to send out the last few bots I signed up for today.

Your bot isn't even a rammer. It would probably make a good extra bot for the team that stinger is on if you made it into a BW.

since the rules say entries must be sent in a PM.
He kind of can't since he's p-banned as far as I remember.

Because he's the one who chooses if it gets broken if Eric gets drawn against Thor, Tiberius, Gripper, Kan Opener at al.
Are those really the robots can break things? Especially Kan Opener, a side crusher with no wedge?

932
Wow my bot sucks. Not that I expected anything different from something that I barely tested, anyway.

Is it okay if you removed those retarded static arms for fights against wedges? Or am I going to get 0-3'd by not-****erwolf and KOSflow's bots?  :dumb)

You also have a bot named "Blizzard" but I had that since 2013: https://gametechmods.com/forums/index.php?topic=13877.0
Thanks.
The "date modified" on my blizzard says that it was made in 2012.

Then again, VB built a DSL bot named blizzard in late 2010, and in NAR AI.

Flapjax looks familiar.

I also named one of my other bots "Flapjax". It's even in ASAI under "oddbots."

Cool bots otherwise though.

Just went into the components file and gathered concussion vs piercing of each weapon (the one bit of info that isn't included in the component description), I think this was in 123's guide that he deleted.

-Razor Tip
Entirely piercing
-Pole Spike
Entirely piercing
-Steel Blade
Entirely piercing
-Sickle
Entirely piercing
-Iron Spike
1/2 piercing, 1/2 concussion
-Cutting Edge
1/2 piercing, 1/2 concussion
-Battle Axe
1/3 piercing, 2/3 concussion
-Crushing Tooth
Entirely concussion
-Hammer
Entirely concussion
-Ninja Star
1/3 piercing, 2/3 concussion, 4 frequency
-DSL Bar
1/3 piercing, 2/3 concussion
-Ice Launcher
Flame damage

That is, if concussion vs piercing actually means anything. Clickbeetle seemed to prove that it doesn't but whatever.

Your focus should basically be to make the top set of chassis points smaller and the bottom set larger. Make it as shallow as possible while keeping a decent amount of weapons/drive/battery power.

Reminder that things like batteries and that snapper 2 can fit inside of wedges to a certain extent.

Veering is determined by weight distribution when you put the wheels on. As in, if you put the wheels on when the bot is not evenly balanced and then proceed to make it evenly balanced later on, it'll still veer.

I'm trying to AI an SnS, but I want it to spin in the opposite direction from normally. What portion of the AI line in FBSPlus.py or FBSInvertDir.py determines the direction of the spin?
'direction':1

1 = clockwise, -1 = counterclockwise
