About time that I had started this thread. At the moment I have two feathers (one is nearly finished being built) and an ant running. This is a pic of the main feather, LR Evo: It is in the top ranking for its class.

For an antweight, I would suggest a budget of about £100 - £250. The transmitter/reciever is the most expensive part, and you should use 1mm-2mm Poycarb for the armour. There is no need for a s/c, as the servos which come with the transmitter have one built in.
You need to have the following tools to build it:
Screwdriver (try and buy an electric one, lot easier) Cordless drill Hacksaw/hegner jigsaw

I would use a Futaba 6EX 2.4GHz Combo, or a Spectrum DX, as they're very reliable.

Congratz guys.
ACAMS, have you decided on someone to moderate Real Robotics yet? I can be a big help there (got two feathers and an ant running in Roaming Robots)...

Sometimes I consider leaving because of people like Sys32 and frezal, but I don't. And I don't intend to leave, either. Because on this forum is where I belong. There are people like GF93, Stag and G.K.
Obviously there are the assholes of this forum, but they cannot do anything bad to you.
I think it was a stupid decision for Reier to leave, but he felt that he couldn't take the flaming any longer, like as if whenever he posted something he immediately got shot down.

Well said.
I liked Reier, because he was essentially like me. Liking lego, living in the middle of nowhere, not that many friends at school, and occasionally cracking a controversial joke/prank. Yes, he can be a bit immature at times, and he does make mistakes, but he is human. We all are. We cannot be perfect.
And most people her don't have the guts to say sorry.
This forum is losing users every day, thanks to a few people on here who think that the users are infinite, and are all as good as them at bot building.

People who bash your face with their elbows whilst eating
Does this actually occur?
Happens a lot at my school. it's 4 to a bench, but somehow 7 people fit on, and when they cut some meat the raise the elbow up to your face and start bashing it with it in a constant *dum-dum* motion.

These are the things that I REALLY hate:
People who bash your face with their elbows whilst eating Football Horses that do a stupid little tap dance when they see a plastic bag People who say that you cannot achieve something and when you achieve it, they say it is a fluke Potatoes

Blabber-mouth is still more of a fail
I get enough things like that at school. I come on here so then I can chat, and have fun, and NOT to get shoved around and saying my bots are a fail. I try to make them to the best of my standards, and CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is much better, and whenever I review someone's bot, I try and look at the good aspects of it, and try to help improve with the negative aspects, instead of just saying it's a 'fail' straight off. No wonder Sparkey's so angry with you all the time, you don't help him, you just post in caps lock: OMG THAT BOT IS A FAIL WHY CANT YOU MAKE BOTS THAT ARE GOOD! That does not help. Newbies cannot make as good a bot as you can, you've at it for years, and they've at it for... days? Maybe a couple of months? My first bot I entered for a tourney was for IRL. It was a failbot, but I thought I was improving, making better bots, and then I made Blabber-mouth, which, I admit, does have a large chassis, but the chassis is PROTECTED at the front and sides. And then I made what I thought to be my best bot yet, which was Son of a Banshee. I thought (and still think) that that is the best bot that I have ever made, but, yet again, all I got was 'OMG that is a failbot!!!' I don't see why I bother to make bots. I came here so then you can tell me how to improve on the bots I make, and then make them to a good standard. People do not help by saying things like that.

Now then guys...
Who was it who said that my bot is bad?
I managed to beat a SEEDED machine.
[/boasting]
For my fight (against Psychoblade), I was just leaning back in my chair, and then I gradually moved further and further and when I won, I did a football dance.
I'm now very proud of myself.

I love the fact you lack the ability to take jokes yourself which were marked with ":P" or "lol"
Point taken.
