Stock Showcases / Re: J's Bots
« on: August 22, 2010, 09:27:00 PM »
Your creative and I like your building style. The only thing that I might suggest is that to pull the motor back, and move the wedges forward because I don't see that getting under any robots. Yet it might work for you because I don't play stock and I wouldn't know.

I saw you had that bot in your showcase. It's really cool. Is the wedge good though because it would be awful if it was out wedged.

You know TX that the Backlash , while it is awesome, is just a demo. I'm with KM and I like make realistic bots. I also was going to wait for the full version otherwise I would become envious that JB might have the near to complete version.

I was wondering that too Badnik. I was pretty shocked at Smash 4 beating Black Mamba. I was wondering why neither backed up. Though I did laugh a slight amount. I didn't think Pressure was still around, but then I remembered that the sign-ups were like in 2008.

Geez, that's good. I don't know if it's really a robot though.

No problem with F3.

I understand with Battalion.

The design on Fever 3 is great. It looks nearly impossible to get to the chassis. Juggernaut (if you still have it) is not as good. I would shrink the chassis and use less batteries.

That looks really cool. It's elegant, has an awesome name, and good wedges. How well does it fight?  You know it looks like Century Storm and Agony had a baby. Also, how long does it take you to build one of those complex robots?

I'm sorry the white armor confused me. I'm sorry I'm looking so stupid.

Great job, but I thought DSA is bad in DSL. Is that DSA? Again, wow.

Real Robotics Discussion / Re: Razer vs. Tiberius
« on: August 21, 2010, 12:47:08 PM »
On this controversial issue, I'm indifferent. Tiberius has more crushing power, but Razer has a better wedge. Tiberius has more armor, but Razer was the original. I voted Tiberius because I'm all for the underdogs.

Existing Games / Thrive
« on: August 21, 2010, 12:42:00 PM »
Hey everyone, there's a game that's being developed right now called Thrive. It's a more classy Spore. They need coders to get further in development. If anyone here would care to participate, here's the link: http://thrivegame.forum-free.ca/index.htm

I thank all of you for the warm welcomes. I really am not that good. I've played like a n00b up until last year. You don't know it but you were teaching me through criticizing. I learn fast academically but not at video games.
123STW: thank you for letting me know that.
Somebody: thanks for the link.
I will start my showcase after dinner.
bye

Freezies: thankyou for the info

Somebody:Thanks for the polite welcome. I plan to get a showcase up tomarrow (could you post the link to SD's picture taking thread).

Well, here's a little about me. I have been playing RA2 since 2004. I only play DSL. I don't have the best building skills, but I am happy to learn from the best. I try to be realistic in my building. I know glitches even though I don't use them. I try not to be a pest like LRA2 ( who ever change his avatar is a genius). I have been lurking on the forums since 2007. I don't know how to send robots in for tournaments. I plan to have a fun time on these forums and to meet new friends. That's it I think. bye

Hey everyone I'm new here and I'm trying to download Nar AI. I was wonderind do I need 2.0 before I get 2.3. It would be easier to get 2.3 first but I don't know. I admire your robots everyone and I'm hoping to hear from you soon, until then bye.
