As for your bots I'm not sure how I feel about voltron's colour scheme. STD is alright although the wheel guards look weak.
Sorry if it feels im being to critical today.
As for your brother I think the bots he made are all around good for someone who I'm guessing is new to RA2. I would make the flip boy's flipper look more naturally connected

XD what a coincidence I was also building a king B ripoff Yours looks way better tho. I like the colour scheme alot and the design is a good rework of kingB's design with out it looking to similar to the real thing

I would Use flat motors for the weapon,I would also make him inverted which you could do by making the body smaller.

Could be AGOD. Try hitting F12 and see if the collision mesh lines up with the wedge itself.

I just took a look and the mesh is in the right place and even when fighting it acts like a regular wedge.

General Support / Hindge wedge weapon

So I was building a robot with a 80cm steel wedge on a hindge but when I tested him for battle his wedge just clipped into the ground. This happend on every arena and even when rebuilding it still happend.

cooltext is some oldschool stuff

if you download paint.net and get some plugins like outline object and drop shadow you can do all that and more

I don't even know you could get plugins for paint.net I'm a check them out

SO I haven't posted in a while so here are some bots with some crappy editing along with it

.Mangled Bear andgled spinner It alright although has and exposed rear....hehe
.Ice cream Wave is an Ice wave clone and the Cleanest looking in my opinion
.Angry Squirrel,Foxic with servo tail
.H.S.D stands for Horizontal Spinner Destroyer because it has a good wedge. Also yes The way I did the armour is weird But I think It works alright on terms of look
.When it comes around sea lobster is going to be my Death match entry when that happens
