CASSIUS 2 NOW WITH AN OKAY SKIN AND LEXAN! under the flipper it has a skin which makes it look like internals, but i obviously forgot to print screen it oops any further suggestions I like the bot except that the stripes don't match up across faces :/
everything else is really good though
also im using the standard stripes textures so i cant line it up better if i could i would

alright, time for a explanation/rant.
Messy building is unnecessary in ALL styles because it's just a lot of components randomly put here. You can do something simple and yet cool at the same time yet no.
It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with IRL or DSL-S and the fact that I am a DSL-S builder.
Follow this SIMPLE logic. Messy building => lots of components for one purpose when one could use less components => weight wasted => design potentially not as good as what you could have done with a cleaner setup.
This logic can be applied everywhere in RA2.
ALL of the DSL building techniques, and most of the stock ones as well can be applied in both DSL-S and IRL, the only difference is in the BUILDING GOALS.
There. And shut up, Helloface, if you were actually trying to see what I am talking about you would wisely stop blaming people who have 10 times more experience and insight into RA2 than you.
/rant.
lolololololo like you know about messy. Maybe in DSL-S, but you still use DSL-S wedges on "IRL" attempts.
/end discussion

(Image removed from quote.) YEAH YEAH YEAH, IT'S TERRIBLE I KNOW. But, it's what I got so far. The things Tommy asked me to do will be applied soon. Was a bit busy with stuff at home and family.
i kind of like it and how long of a burst motor does it use for the spike?

I made 2 new disks, which are both 60cm but have an axle about the length of half an iron spike for each side. It works well for drums. I also made some more spikes.
I think this thing below is the most useful thing I've ever made actually. I made the height slider taller to be more accurate, and I also added some marks that indicate the minimum height requirements for certain components. Sadly, it only works at resolutions of 1024x768 or higher. I'll probably release this tool soon, but first, what other component heights should I add? And should I make it compatible with smaller resolutions?
I should probably just make a new thread for all of the stuff going into the mod I'm making
im indifferent about the height markers although they seem useful i like the double sided ironspike for axe reasons and i think the disc with the long axle could be very useful good job

Looks overwhelmingly average. It's not going to do anything in an enclosed arena.
but don't change your robot to do more damage i'm sure it will do fine (hopes robot can out damage it) wait did i type that ummm i love tacos
