So there IS another mace poker out there!  Never actually saw one though.

And it's because it looks too skinny to me.

For some reason, when I saw that your showcase contained a new post, I thought that you had built and posted something inspired by L. Pardinus, and I was right (kinda) XD.

Looks really good, but would it benefit the bot if the drive were mounted closer to the front for better turning speed?

I personally think that you would be fine with 2 blacks.  I have a HW popup with the same motor and battery setup as yours and less weapons whose attacks are not even concentrated into one spot as some others, and it is still able to 1-hit KO Absolute Chaos from time to time.

For bots with burst motors that have longer weapons/more weight on the burst motors, like most hammers and Sage's Pulse, yes it would be better to add more battery power.

Wow, it's been a long time since I last touched stock.  Anyway, I've always wanted to make something like this:

L. Pardinus

One Supervolt (stacked with CB), 32 maces, DSA, the rest you can see.

It sometimes drifts while accelerating, and shakes due to the piston glitch, but it doesn't affect it too much.  Otherwise, it can be very destructive:

Beat AC on the first try :D.  Took a while to beat BEAR though; the only way to beat it was to jam the spinners and let the side maces break the extenders while pushing it around.  Had some trouble beating Barrier, too, because it kept havoking out of the arena when its pistons lost all of their weapons.  While trying to beat it, though, I managed to get this:

Yup, 13822-point hit.  Point totals included for legitimacy, but I don't know how it compares to others' records.

Cool, but you have better choices for weapons than spike strips and blades.  I'm not sure about the rear armor on the first one either.

Some DVDs, a few games and computer software, R/C hovercraft, a candle, and a gift card.

... and I wanted a snail.

Yeah I think SD's right about him being a troll.

I was talking about the weapon extenders intersecting the DSL bars.  To me, one looks like it's passing through more than half of one of them.

Cool!

The first one doesn't look too realistic too me.  Move the pistons forward by a bit.

Not too sure if the second one's weapon setup is very realistic either, and I don't think 2 side panels are enough for front armor.

Asians are --cked....
I'm half Filipino, but also have French blood running through my veins, so I could be either with you or Naryar.  I was born and raised in the United States, but I'd rather be with another team XD.

XBlade3

The only thing that was really changed was the weapon (got rid of the axles, changed the disc, and replaced the razors with 2 med beater bars and 2 light DS spikes), which is a bit more effective than the previous version's, but makes a difference:

Disclaimer:  These shots actually took me a few tries, and despite it taking longer to destroy SC, it beats it more often than it does FangY.

RotA - anyone else thinking Haymaker ?

You're not the only one XD!  I'm not too big a fan of that setup anyway; it's why I think Haymaker sucks.  :P

A helpful tip to remember is that any spin motor, doesn't matter if it's a weapon or drive motor, can be powered by only 1 ant (though you might want to add a couple more).

It would probably be bothersome, but would it be possible if (since Naryar already lost) there could be one more match between Pwn and I?  I still have a score to settle with him.

I don't care if I lose, because I'm already pissed off right now.

^^I blame that on Naryar for being a fanboy of generic tournament formats.

I never really liked building FSs... at least after I graduated from Stock AI, so I build juggler-like FSs instead:

Tunneler

4 ants, 5mm plastic

Obviously, it's a possible CC3 entry.  I was originally planning to enter a rebuild of the VS I posted back there, but it's not working out due to armor and stability issues.  Besides, this one loves doing this:

which includes tearing off ≥ 85% of its external components >:)

I might try to rebuild it later with Tornado wheels for a little more invertibility, and maybe put an ax2550 on it as well.  I'm not satisfied with the paintjob either, but at least it fits with its name.

S32, I think it's just because Nary takes his building vvvvveeeerrrrrrryyyyyy seriously, and that he builds a lot of gutrippers, which are heavily reliant on wedges.

I somewhat agree, though.
