I think it would use the Z-tek spinner to flip around the floor and attack foes as they approached. Like a crawler, almost.

It was a robot with an unstable flipper. (wasnt evident in its videos IIRC)
Oh, really? To what extent? The only time I noticed any evidence of it was in testing, when it would sometimes flip itself over.
