So, uh... yeah.

Gotta give R0B0 some credit for the RAD setup.

5 week bump

So yeah, I suck at building AWs, so I stole Ian's FW chassis and made this. No idea if it's actually combat effective, because I never have the patience for testing bots lighter than LWs. :P

Oh, and I've got a surprise (level of astonishment may depend on some stuff) that I'm gonna reveal later. :>

I used to hate the Popper, too. Then I got a Strange version of it and made a couple of players rage enough for all of them to switch to Pyros.

Scout is a and I have become one when I'm using the Popper. Otherwise, I'm just a dude who likes to flaunt his Smitty Werbenjagermenjensen hat. :<

I would disagree on BFB being superior, and I would go as far to say that the Shortstop is actually on par with the Soda Popper, both of which are almost as good as the stock Scatty. Trying to kill someone while being slower than a Demo is easier said than done (unless you're in a Valve server), and you're restricted to using a Pistol/Guillotine since this should be your main source of filling up your Boost.

I just prefer the Shortstop because it pretty much deals the same damage as a single Guillotine shot per clip at the same range, assuming your aim allows you to hit something 60% of the time. And that gives you space for a proper utility (Pocket Pistol+Fan O'War or Candy Cane, or the rest of the Special Delivery set if you have one).

But if you're not like me and actually have the balls to get up to the opponents' faces and 1337lolz360meatshot, then the stock Scatty or the Soda Popper should make the most out of your playing style.

Derped around in MvM as Solly. Just found out the Righteous Bison is his best weapon when fully upgraded. Burns through Scout waves and half of the giant robots solo AND YOUR SHOTS CAN'T BE BLASTED AND YOU CAN LIVE WITHOUT MEMORIZING AMMO BOX LOCATIONS AND REPEATED DAMAGE PER SHOT IS OH SO AWESOME

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

it's seriously taking you this long to do a splash?
Because apparently you have a lot of free time when you're 23...

Guys, calm your damn tits.

The host generally doesn't change his entry so as to not look like a bad sport. Changing it mid-signups makes it look like the host is trying to win the tourney by entering another bot. Keep in mind Click did update his flail hammer in BBEANS 4, but those were minor modifications and the general bot design was retained.

Ian's barely had any revision (an axe head instead of a small wedge), so quit bitching about it and just move on.

Cut it out too, Ian. Blowing this whole issue out of proportion just makes you look like a dick.

I'm guessing the radius of the drive has something to do with its speed.

Wait... my bot can't self-right? D:

Unless the AI can't detect when it actually needs to self-right. Never actually tested that part HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If anything goes wrong, I'll clean it up anyway, so don't be afraid to say what you want. :P

Metal hinge's on the baseplate. Attach a DSL bar to the hinge then the 120cm sheet to the bar.

Pretty cool. Use a single metal hinge wedge (if that's too short, extend it with a DSL bar or something), and make the stabilizers static. If you've got extra weight left, just add some weapons on top of the discs.

Actually, I meant something like Intruder Alert rather than Fury. So no, you won't be copying him. :P

Seems pretty brittle for an unrealistic bot. I was kinda expecting a dual HS for a nice mix of defense and reach.

I haven't booted up TF2 in a long time, thanks to SMNC.

But yeah, I would say around 500 of the 2.4k kills on my Grenade Launcher were lucky hits. At least 70 were direct hits on cloaked Spies lol
