Get rid of custom components, they won't be needed for this kind of building. Also get Nar AI, more challenging robots to face. Add more weapons to the snappers, also what kind of snappers are you using, for that particular design I would use JX smalls. Please build to the weight limit (again Im not surprised), other than that you pretty much nailed it on the head for a beginner popup.

A SHRiMech can be anything from roll bars to a snapper powered arm, the hard part is doing it without a wedge or a skirt touching the ground.

I really like the idea now that the rules have been updated... and since you are pitting the bots against HnM 4 this better be DSL HW. (that wedges are outdated btw... could i just build and send you HnM 5 or do you want that resistance to popups test not to be too difficult ?  )
HnM 4 is difficult enough given that the bots are supposed to be helpless.

Well, castor armor is defiantly out of the question.
For the plows, Heavy and Steel V are also illegal.
As for the 1/2 sheets, they cannot be directly attached to the baseplate.
For bottom armor you must use an upside down anchor to hold the armor.

@ Nar -No wedges @123STW This is a test to see who could balance external armor, speed, power supply, and self righting the greatest. So plows and other external armor methods are legal.
