Gezze, it's been long.

This is End of the Century:

Yep, it's a SHW super pop-up. No razor count, but I think it totals to about 24 to 30. Consistently OHKOs any HW you throw at it, and it's so heavy that it gives it surprisingly good wedges. Six DDTs, six Super Volts, Six HP-ZTeks, and DSA armor, a bit heavy at about 1270 Kilos.

Perhaps this will re spark the robot building craze once more, though how much of it will be combat I don't know, RoboGames has a ton of other events like sumo and ROBO-1.
Well it's called KILLER Robots so, I'm guessing it's about Robot Combat.
Sumo and ROBO-1 do involve combat.

Those flipper hinges seem disturbingly thin, and like NFX said, that srimech idea of yours seem rather heavy, perhaps you should stick to static spikes instead.

Can you maybe include the robot wars arena but can you make the starting zones patrol zones which, if you choose the house robot for an opponent, there will be a different house bot? If not don't criticize me.

We can't make house bots.

Yes you can, they did it in WRL1.

Other than that, maybe there could be more realistic motors:

The AstroFlights are (In game) slightly more powerful than the Copals, but in real life the Astroflight motor is about as big (And powerful) as the short Magmotor(There called Ampflow motors now BTW)

The Ampflow motors are no where as powerful in game as in real life, a 6 Hp motor should not be slower that a motor that barely breaks 1 Hp.

I know there are balance reasons for the motor values, but for a mod that supposed to be as close to the real thing as possible, shouldn't the motors be close to their real life counterparts?

But Badnik requested for 13 Black before. Why can't I do it this time?

Because he's a respected member that also made some of his own reps.

1.Servos don't require power to work, they will work with out any power source.

2.I'm not sure if anyone has tied this.

3.No, they always drain the same amount regardless of arc.

4.The only thing you'll get from an angle like than is a better protected weapon, but another bot has to be higher up on the wedge.

5.The only way to do that is to edit the txt file, and that would only affect you on your side. Creating a new txt file would crash the game on the hosts part.

6.It's the ESC key.

Thats just the bare chassis, and doesn't come with any parts. Plus, it's going to cost another 120 for the weapon. It's going to cost more for the weapon motor and ESC, not to mention the amount for the drive and batteries.

Here ya go:

I made a typo, it should be PK 27, not 17 like I said before.
BTW, your going to need the 6mm hubs for these.

Try the PK-17. It's a bit big, but with lexan armor it should be fine with lite flights.

Those motors are very slow, and very under powered for an beetle. You should go for the B-16 instead, it's made to be used in a beetle weight, though your going to need hubs.

Your Saber tooth already has a BEC, it does not need another battery.

Most of the Spektrums do have mixing, as in for forwards and backwards, left and right on one stick.
Edit: Ninjasked.

Armour : Polycarbonite (FREE)(Good choice, but make sure its real polycarbonate, plexy glass is often confused for it, and will shatter like, well, glass. You should also chemically weld it together, you'l have armor that will be nearly unbreakable.)
Speed Contrlorrer : Sabertooth 5 ($60)(Nice choice)
Radio package : GWS (about $100)(Its a very basic radio, your going to waste your money that won't work. For the same price, you could get the Spektrum DX5e, which would be a much better radio. Just remember that the AR6110 is going to put you a bit over budget.)
Motors: Spare Taymia motors ($6 for 2)(Those seem awfully small to drive a beetle around.)
Wheels : i forgot the name (about $4 for 2-pack)(I'm guessing these are lite flights. Your going to need hubs, they don't bolt on to the shafts.)
Battery for Sabertooth: Custo0m Made Battery ($15)
Battey for reciever : Custom made battery ($5)(A BEC is much better and wont add to much weight, but might be a bit more pricey, but it's going to total how much you would pay for another switch, RFL rules require a switch between all power sources.)
X2 battery charger ($30 for 2)
Fastners ($10)

Is this what you would recommend?
My thoughts hi-lighted in red.

You should probably switch it to some form of metal, polycarbonate wont keep an edge and you can't have an effective wedge that can't keep a sharp edge. If you don't want to make it a deferent material, you should extend the ax arm, so it hits the ground and not the wedge.
