You could actually upgrade your hammers to 70 kg ones. As for your stability problem, it sounds like you actually have too many drive motors (if you still have 4WD). Personally, I think that two NPC Fasts with hypno wheels are more than enough for HW HS's.
And I hope you stick around. It's not exactly every day that we get a new member, let alone one who can post in complete sentences.

Happy Birthday Canada! An important part of the British Empire, and relatively nice to look at, too!
Maple Syrup was also a major bonus...
*Goes all "Bear Hugger" and drinks a bottle of Maple Syrup*
I appreciate the enthusiasm GF, but there are a couple of things that you clearly do not understand... 1) One does not simply go "bear hugger." This is Canada. Which means mother nature wants to punch you in the face here. Do not hug the bears. Do not touch the bears, do not feed the bears, do not tease the bears. Do not poke, prod or prick the bears. Do not approach the bears. Do not call out to the bears, do not tease the bears. Do not vocalize around the bears. Do not make direct eye contact with the bears, do not even cast a sideways glance at the bears. The bears are not your friends. The bears are not cuddly, friendly, or fuzzy. The bears hate you with every fibre of their living beings. The bears want to kill you. You cannot outrun the bears, you cannot outclimb the bears, you cannot outswim the bears, you cannot outsmart the bears, you cannot outfight the bears. There are reasons why the natives worship the bears. The bears will tear your asshole a new asshole. 2) What's a Britain? Canada belongs to no empire. The Queen lives in that place with rain and fog and tea and really bad teeth and funny accents. 3) Downing a bottle of maple syrup is tougher than downing a bottle of most hard liquors. Trust me, I've tried. Oh, and Canada > Pwnator. Still.

Stopping the use of skirt hinge armour in tournaments is easy. All it takes is for Click (or the host in future situations) to say "no invincible (baseplate mounted) armour because it's unrealistic."
Easy as pie IMO.

Goldenfox, please stop that. "The Game" became unfunny about three years ago.
Glad to see the thread for BBEANS is quickly falling apart again. I'm absolutely 100% thrilled with some peoples' levels of self restraint. Amazing.

BUT I THOUGHT WE HAD SOMETHING SPECIAL JB TT.TT
Anyways, I'm not saying you haven't contributed. You've contributed by far and away more than I and around 99% of the rest of the members here have. Perhaps I came across too agressive and accusatory (my bad), but my point is that Click has been doing what he's been doing since long before I joined the forums, and years longer that you've been here. You're well on your way to legend status too and you deserve way more respect than you're shown for your constant little projects - just as ACAMS deserves waaaaaay more respect for keeping the community afloat for years.
Basically, it boils down to the fact that CB had a 5-year head start on you, so you have a long way to go. And I really hope you get there as you're one of the nicest guys here :)

And how did I miss this?
Well, I didn't vote in time but here's my list anyways.
Stock: 1. Pwnator 2. Clickbeetle 3. Sage 4. Scrap Daddy 5. Myself 6. The Ounce 7. Virus Bomb
DSL: 1. The Ounce 2. Pwnator 3. Naryar 4. Reier 5. Virus Bomb 6. Myself 7. Clickbeetle
Contributors: 1. Clickbeetle 2. Naryar 3. Madiaba
And I'm gonna have a little rant here, so please bear with me. I mean to flame no one.
I'll start by saying this: the notion that JoeBlo is the biggest contributor to the community is absolutely absurd and insulting to both Clickbeetle and Naryar. Just look at their respective resumes. Joe is a really nice guy, and I like him a ton and have huge respect for him, but what has he done? He has hosted Clash Cubes 1 and 2 and is in the midst of CC3. That's it. Do not bring Backlash into this because it still has not seen the light of day, it's a long ways off and it can still tank and be gone forever. Just look at what Gigafrost had planned with RA2:GE and ELBITE. Naryar on the other hand has almost single-handedly wrenched DSL out of the dark ages where it had remained stagnant for a long time with his progressive and effective building. As far as I'm concerned, he's on the same level as Starcore when it comes to pushing the AI envelope, too. NAR AI is now the standard DSL AI by which everything is measured. If Nar was inactive, he'd be legendary by now.
And then there's Clickbeetle. He already is a legend and should have infinite respect from everyone here. Not only has he, like Naryar, progressed both Stock and DSL with his uniquely innovative building style (I'm sure 90%+ of us would list ourselves as "minionbeetles"), but he has run the most successful tournament series the community will ever see (5 BBEANS to date. No other tourney has 3 installments completed), he has released the BBEANS AI pack (complete with awesome UI) and has played a major role in the development of DSL (with DSL 3 on the way - which counters JoeBlo's Backlash). As far as I'm concerned, Joe still has a long way to go until he can even hold a candle to Click.
/rant
Still <3 ya Joe :D

You are 63.9% Good. You are 12.8% Lawful.
Alignment: Neutral Good
You do the best good that a person could be expected to do. You are devoted to helping others. You are willing to work with authority figures, but you do not feel any particular allegiance to them. You are the stereotypical “Benefactor.” You believe in doing good without any particular bias for or against order. Examples of charactersand people who fit into the same alignment as you include Mother Theresa, Ghandi, Gandalf, Indiana Jones, O-Bi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Harry Potter, Frodo Baggins, and the Dalai Lama.
I helped the worm. What can I say, I did it yesterday IRL (seriously).

The best elementary school fad was Beyblades. Why you ask? Because I could pop down to chinatown and get all of the cheap-ass illegal ones that supposedly put out eyes and ate babies when you weren't looking. Put 3 or 4 in an arena, and someone was doomed to go home minus an appendage. Once one idiot tried to pull his out of the arena, and mine (which had little metal spikes that sparked on contact with other metal) ripped a fingernail off. At that point, they were banned so instead we operated an exclusive invite-only league in the woods just off of the property at lunch times. What fun, eh?
Oh, and these rubber bands suck. I'm sure that JD could make a nice graphic showing just how as well.

Awwwwwright. Analysis and predictions time :D
Main Bracket:
1.8 - Somestrangeguy - Decent looking rammer, but those drive motors are very exposed. One hit can completely cripple it.
4Head - Hurricane Andrew - A lesser version of SSG's 1.8. May give other rammers problems though.
Acornia 3 - FOTEPX - May win a fight or two, but the weapons are too dispersed to cause any real destruction.
AHHHH COME ON!! - Sparkey98 - If it's a flipper (which I suspect it may be) it might be an annoying little bugger for some bots. At least it's not the SFTW.
All Or Nothing - Redline - The best paintjob. Brittle weaponry will prove to be its downfall, however.
AntonYYYm - lloop D lloop - Clearly inspired by Smashbox, it's too top heavy to be really wedgey, and lacks damaging potential. Probably won't do well.
AtaxiA - R0B0SH4RK - It's quite damaging, but its biggest weaknesses are its brittle weapons. Like R4, it's not built for long matches.
Bane X - Urjak - Very deadly with 12 razors, Urjak is a serious contender. It might take part in some of the most boring matches though.
Biridium - Ashman12 - I'm not sure it it's a rammer or a poker, but it will run into the same problems as FOTEPX's Acornia. This being said, Acornia's also much better.
Bisector - Clickbeetle - Before you guys start geeking out over Bisector like you did Heaven's Sawmill, note that a lucky hit from a gut ripper can cripple it, and it can be out-weaponed too. By far and away the most creative entry here.
Blabber-mouth - Zog - wat
Blaze Line - S.T.C. - It looks pretty good, but I'm unsure of the wedges. It should win a couple of matches.
Blood Orange - Craaig - Decent, but unspectacular. Whyachi hammers aren't great and its weapon motor is very exposed to HS's.
Bot With MOVING Spikes - 090901 - Another bot that looks decent but not great. Three spikes aren't much even on a LW popup, and the position of the weapon limits how damaging it could be.
Bot With Spinny Thingy - Bubbleman - The coolest looking chassis of any of the bots, but the weapon is quite high and the reach is limited. It might stand a better chance if it was rotated 180 degrees.
Claw Cube 3 - Stagfish - I'm not sold on how damaging it can be. Also, it looks pretty breakable.
Come Get Some! - Alterer of Reality - It dosen't look like it has the speed to be a really deadly SnS, and the weaponry isn't the best either.
Conficker - System32 - A very Bras Ouvert-style bot, it should be a rammers' worst nightmare. If its frontal shield is bypassed though, its hugely vulnerable with brittle components and a tiny chassis. It's also fairly slow.
Death Of Angels 2 - Sage - One of my favourite bots here. It looks quick, damaging and wedgey. However, I'm pretty sure that its armour is weak, but it should still go far.
Deinonychus - Wings - Very mediocre. Not very well built and very weak weaponry.
Elle Driver - Jack Daniels - A more solid version of Deinonychus, I'm not sure if it's fast enough to cause many problems.
Final Z - Badnik96 - It has a deadly weapon, but its design leaves it more vulnerable to gut-rippers that some of the other HS here. Wheels on the end of long axels are also prone to havoks from my experience.
Flux - 40757 - Poor wedges and a high centre of gravity limit its effectiveness. May win a match it if gets licky with matchups.
Guardian Angels - Trumpetguy - I'm tempted to suspect that this is a multibot. Even if it is, its weaponry is absolutely pathetic.
Hredder 6.6 - Squirrel_Monkey - A very solid bot, but if the arena that we'll be in is like the BBEANS MW arena, small wedges seem to be limited in their effectiveness. Should do pretty well.
Ice Tornado - The Ounce - Although I don't think that is has the speed to beat some of the top contenders, it has very good weaponry. A solid run is in line for this Best Rookie award contender.
Infection 4 - Pwnator - Another one of my favourites. It will be very flanky, and is fast enough to take on some of the shell spinners. It will be top-5.
Kill Box - Timothy700 - It's design could give some spinners problems, but it's just not fast enough to pull it off. Also, gut-rippers will eat it for breakfast.
Killer Green Yoshi - 027 LB - It will be unstable, and capable of catapulting itself over walls, but its hammers can outlast many of the other weapon setups here. I don't see any prolonged runs from it though.
Kurt Rambis - COOLRUNNER87 - It's not really quick, and a narrow wheel base makes it easily flanked. Its back end is very vulnerable.
Lil' Eager V2 - Little Lost Bot - I like how it looks, but its weaponry is pretty poor and its chassis is very exposed. It won't go far.
Meteorite - TriTon - Mediocre wedges, sparse weaponry and exposed drive motors. Might be an annoyance for some, but It won't be going very far.
Minifridge 4 - G.K. - A classic Sheck Spinner look, but it's out-gunned by Bane X, Stanley 2 and Resentful Princess 2. It will get a couple of wins, but there are better bots out there with the same design.
Minor Launch Platform MK2 - R1885 - A decent looking LW popup. Pretty generic, it can get out-wedged on the BBEANS arena floor. Also, the small wedge is vulnerable to some of the flails.
Missile Test - Jonzu95 - Its wedge is pretty poor and it may lose a lot of slow matches. With this being said, it may also have the frontal defense to give some of the shell spinners a tough time.
Moving Violation - Kill343gs - It looks cool, but it lacks the damaging power to make a sustained run. Good matchups may give it a couple of wins.
Mutant Kabuto - Sonny_Resetti - It has a big chassis and not many weapons for a spinner. It probably won't go far.
New Ruin - Firebeetle - The champ returns with a smart little spinner. With what I think is triple irons on each side, it will cause most of the bots here big problems. It's still vulnerable to gut-rippers, however.
N-Trench - Mjrobots - Simply not enough weaponry and brittle construction mean that this bot will be lucky to get out of round 1.
Power Surge - Flying_Chao - I like it to do well, but as we saw with Haymaker in BBEANS 4, the arena can be unforgiving. Also, I'm not sure if the TD wheels give it enough speed to take out some of the gut-rippers.
Power Surge 3 - D-lark - I don't know quite how the weapons are supposed to work, but I don't think that there are enough for a good rammer. Also, the drive motors are a big achilles heel.
Precision Impact - Pressure - One of the best built SFTWs that I've seen. It has really weak wheels and terrible weaponry. Also not invertible.
Predator - JoeBlo - Grizzly claws are damaging, but I don't think that it will stack up to the other flail HS too well, due to having normals and being out-weaponed. Ronin flags are a nice touch though.
Primal Instinct - Inplabth - Hammers are damn near impossible to pull off well in the LW division, and unfortunately PI dosen't break this trend. It looks to have a short reach and instability will be a problem.
Psychoblade - Scorpio - THE...WEAPONS...ARE...BACKWARDS. Other than that, it at least looks cool.
ReActive - MikeNCR - I'm not sure that Mike can retain his #1 ranking with this entry, as I'm not sure what it's really supposed to do. Might fall victim to HS though.
Reier's Avatar 3 - A lack of wedges hurts this flail grinder, and graphite extenders holding on the drive train is a massive weakness.
Resentful Princess - Virus Bomb - Basically the same a Bane X, but with 8 razors and 2 irons. Another contender for top rookie.
Sawzal - Shish-Kabot - S-k clearly was watching Clash Cubes when he designed this. Unlike many of the SnS, this ones wheelbase looks wide enough to give it sufficient speed, but it's still very, very brittle.
Shish-Kebab 2 - Incredirobotwars - Having an exposed chassis in DSL is almost suicide. I can see Shish-Kebab getting eaten alive by some of the spinners here.
Stanley 2 - Somebody - The 3rd best SS here, it has basically the same strengths are Bane X and Resentful Princess. Look for Somebody to elevate his current #77 ranking.
Star Dust - 123Savethewhales - A pretty good VS should make a decent run, but ultimately it will be outgunned by the better HS and Gut-rippers.
Terrible Sight - Naryar - For a guy who rips on flails at every chance he gets, seeing something as "teh ghey" as invisible, invulnerable armour on one of his bots is bordering on hypocritical. 800 hp wheels also would scare me, as one lucky shot could incapacitate this bot.
That Spike Thing... - TeamXtreemer - Not enough good weapons to go anywhere.
The Mini Warrior - Eggman249 - See above comment. Except this one's worse.
The Strike of a Ninja - Doomkiller - A very solid looking TS. So much rear weight may inhibit its wedge, however. Still a contender for Best Rookie.
The Telephone Effect - WhammettNuht - A very solid looking FS from Wham. If its wedges are good enough, it may make a decent run. If not, it will still be pesky.
Tomcat II - -Xile- - A very real-life feel to this one. It reminds me of Robot Wars' Wild Thing. It's too steep to be a very good wammer though.
Trance Hazard - Larrain - Not enough weaponry to worry the HS's, and an exposed motor is lunch for gut-rippers. I don't like its chances.
Trigger Happy - Natef - Very good frontal defense, but a poor wedge and it may be easily flanked. It, like Jonzu's Missile Test, could potentially cause some problems for the flail HS though.
What Sheck Spinner? - H@zm47 - I don't like anti-(insert bot type here) bots because they tend to be limited in their effectiveness against types other than the ones they were designed to fight. Also, I'm not even sure that WSS? can handle Bane X, RP2 or Stanley.
Your Final Moment - Powerrave - Bad weapons, bad drive, bad robot. Another SFTW.
Zombie Pirate Ninja - NFX - I like how it looks, but I just don't think that it's damaging enough or wedgey enough to make a prolonged run.
Wildcard Bracket:
Mass Opression - Scrap Daddy - Very well built despite aa general lack of weaponry. If it's fast enough, it can make it into the main bracket.
Mr. Punch - GoldenFox93 - Teh generic piston rammer is teh generic. Also, probably the worst of the four wildcard combatants.
S Cargo - Reier - The best non-gutripping VS in the entire tourney, it's unfortunate that Reier needs to fight to get into the main bracket. The favourite, but Scrap may give him a run for his money.
Shilka - Temi - One of the coolest looking bots, but with a static wedge and rotated teeth, I'm not sure how damaging it could be. With a couple of modifications, it could have been a deadly combatant.
Wildcard Predictions: It's a toss-up between Reier and Scrap, but ultimately I think that Scrap will gut-rip his way into the main bracket. If either Reier or Scrap win, they are both also poised to make a significant run too, although I don't think that either one can win it all.
Main Bracket Predictions: The finalists in both DSL BBEANS to date have all been wedges (Smashbox, Mako, HazCon, Enfilad3), but the only other LW BBEANS was also the only HS vs HS final (Childs Play vs Le\/eL). You can read two thing from that: the wedge will dominate DSL, or HS are the way to go for LWs. It will be close, but ultimately I think that Sage and Pwnator have what it takes to rise through the ranks and face off for the title. And between them, I think that Sage is better suited for takin out other wedges. So, my prediction for BBEANS 6 champ is Sage!
Top 5: 1. Death of Angels 2 - Sage 2. Infection 4 - Pwnator 3. Bane X - Urjak 4. Terrible Sight - Naryar 5. Stanley 2 - Somebody
Others to watch: ReActive - MikeNCR Resentful Princess 2 - Virus Bomb Ice Tornado - The Ounce Final Z - Badnik96 AtaxiA - R0B0SH4RK
Top Rookie Contenders: Blaze Line - S.T.C. Final Z - Badnik96 Ice Tornado - The Ounce Resentful Princess 2 - Virus Bomb Star Dust - 123savethewhales The Strike of a Ninja - Doomkiller
The SFTW nominees: Blabber-mouth - Zog Guardian Angels - Trumpetguy Your Final Moment - powerrave
And there you have it :D

Canada lost to the bloody Swiss >:O
IMO Mark Messier picked a pretty crappy team for us, although Canada beat Norway 12-1 this morning. I mean, our goalies are back-ups to back-ups in the NHL (Chad Johnson and Devan Dubnyk are painfully mediocre at best) and there are TONS of glaring omissions that make any hockey fans with half at least half of a brain - namely myself - weep gently hoping for Mark Messier to one day quit screwing us...
I'd comment on Finland's roster, but I can't find their lineup anywhere :\
And how is Denmark tied with freaking Russia for first place in their group??
