For the tornado mer gearbox and twm3r you'll need to use a baseplate anchor placed lower in the chassis so the motor doesn't stick out of the top and what motor is that on Inferno?
Looks like a Slimbody to me. That, or a Flatmotor.

Nice. I assume it can't turn?
Sort of. It can only go forwards or turn backwards. Something to do with the sideways physics.

Yeah, for a CGI film it was surprisingly dark and violent. Enjoyed it thoroughly though.

Terminator 2 Commando The Running Man Days of Thunder Talladega Nights Space Jam The Mask UHF Collateral The Fast and The Furious
EDIT: Can't believe I forgot the film that got me into driving movies.

10 years old and we're STILL finding bugs in this game? Damn, RA2 was really rushed out of the gate.

Pretty much, it's Nano Nightmare:

As long as people can tell what this is, it's a resounding success for me. Packs a nasty punch and can beat most NAR AI BWs even though it's 22kg underweight. However, due to space limits, uses 4 AA batteries.

Exactly. Take robots like Mortis and Minion, which both cost way more than $10000 to build and maintain, and yet they hardly blew the competitions away. Cost limits will just reduce the amount of competitors, which is a bad thing.

Well guys, kind of a hit a ditch here: What do I modify in the .bot file to rotate this damn motor 90 degrees?

Well, here is the current progress of the finished robot:

Can we see a screenshot of the lifter mid-lift?
Yeah, for some reason it goes backwards instead of forwards:

Well, as promised, here's my very quick (15 minute) replica of BioHazard, which will eventually be rebuilt to look more realistic. 739kgs with titanium 5mm. Yes, I know it's underweight as and looks crap but this is only a concept, not the finished version. Now, is it possible to make the chassis lower than the "cheat minimum" by using BFE? Also, does anyone have a good photo of BioHazard's innards? The finished robot will use a semi "split in half" chassis a la Blood Runner.

Three words: Shiny Hub Wheel
Yes, it is possible.

Well, being as this thread has been dug up from the depths of , I hope BioHazard gets re-rebuilt so to speak. If possible, it should have a plain rectangle body shape with skirts overhanging it, rather than a solid body. This would make it a more formidable opponent and a more realistic one, too. Hell, I might design a concept for it later today.

It may be hard, but an arena that rewards strategy over hitpoints (aka billyun razrs) would be a good idea. I know hazards that take away hitpoints have been done before, but we could go a couple steps further. For example, there could be a point deduction for every time the game thinks your robot is immobile. Similar the drop zone in the RW arena or the spikes on the Combat Zone, if you stay in a certain spot for too long, an invisible object "hits" you and removes points, so to speak. For every second after it has begun, a larger amount of points disappear from your score. For the competitors themselves, there would be a smartzone on the top of the robot for every time it gets flipped, that removes points. Invertible robots would have a smaller deduction. If this idea is done correctly, robots might be more imaginative. It would also give bot builders a more realistic fighting style rather than having to pin your opponent against the wall every time it's flipped (aka Grog).
