Just a little side note; Knowing your place is good and can keep you away from trouble, but constantly calling yourself a failure and whatnot will keep you from improving.
It's some kinda psychological stuff.
Anyway, there should be a skinning tutorial around there somewhere in the tips/tutorials section. I think it was made for photoshop users but you should give it a look. Otherwise, if you gather some of the custom textures and master using the in-game paint shop, that works too. A few people do that.

No, you silly XD IRL is a type of bot style that we have here on GTM, on a basic level it's making a bot look and function as close to real life as possible. What Shield means, is he's asking you if you can build a bot for one of our soon-to-be ongoing tournaments; Battlebots 7. Don't worry about it though; focus on your bot building skills before you enter tournaments. Even IRL ones.

Don't use piglets for drive, 1 ant battery can power 1 of any spin motor, steel armor in terms of efficiency is worse (Titanium 5 should work well enough)I can see you'd rather build cool looking things than efficiency, but getting your feet wet in efficiency will help you out in the long run. Edit: My mistake; didn't have my reference card on me. Steel 5 is a good armor in terms of hp/weight but titanium 5 is a better armor in that case. Still, Steel 5 gives you more armor, which is good.

I'm guessing that by 'better' he means kinder, as in the people there aren't looking to fill the creatiom that took you several hours to build with TNT and find a way to make you unknowingly flip the switch/flip the switch themselves. Or fill your house/mineshaft with bedrock, or something.
Griefers are going to grief. I don't consider them as part of the legion of minecraft players. And besides, I'm talking about on the forums. The people are pretty kind and helpful last time I checked.

Ugh why do people rip off Minecraft so much, it isn't even funny.
This is designed for older computers that CANT RUN MINECRAFT. IT IS NOT A RIPOFF
Trying to say it is not a ripoff is like me making something like Devil May Cry, except replacing all the models with really rubbish models, releasing it for free and saying it isn't a ripoff because it is designed to work on older machines.
Its coded in C++ and Lua.
And its not just the graphics
Minecraft servers need 4 GB of RAM
Minetest servers can run comfortably on 128 MB of RAM

My server has 1GB of memory to play with. 4GB can easily cope with 60+ people on the server, with animals, explosions etc. Hell, i've seen servers with 256mb for a few friends to mess about on. 4GB is overkill. Besides, what makes this game 'better' than Minecraft? Just because it can run on old machines doesn't mean much at all.
And thats how much i pay attention to minecraft.
PLus, its easier to mod.
And it has a better community.
Minecraft has a legion versus that community. Besides, the recent updates they've made to minecraft have made it much easier to mod (in the sense of adding mods to it, we leave the whole modding business to the people who actually can)

In addition, instead of baseplate anchors use Multiextenders. Meh. I have a lot of leftover weight, and I'm way too lazy to redo it.
You should use 1 ant battery per spin motor (4 for good measure) You crazy, foo! More amps = more power
and you might want to consider using a more powerful motor for that, if you wanna stick with the team whyachi's go with the 6-mag I tried that, and I couldn't fit enough batteries because of weight and space.
It's pretty underweight too. See what you can do about that, maybe you can knock up the armor a bit or something. Yeah, I've been thinking about that so I don't really know what I'm going to do.
I am not crazy. It's pretty common knowledge that you can fully power every spin motor with 1 ant battery. You can totally use a 6-mag and not worry about cake-stuffing your chassis with batteries. It's a spin motor, and you can power those with 1 ant battery. Maybe 2 for good measure.
