If done improperly. Also, get a stronger wedge.
Slight drive overkill for a MW VS. Ever so slightly. Due to this I'm assuming that he's using a perm 80, otherwise he's magically conjured up weight from somewhere. And sledges are not a good choice for wedged VS, since wedged VS want to get under and gutrip, not punt the opponent away so they have to risk the wedge war all over again. And if he wants a wedge he'll need some form of stabiliser at the back so it doesn't tip over during a wedge war and gyro for a bit. Unless you want it to gyro.
