Holy
![]() That bot... holy smokes. It looks like nothing I've ever seen before in Stock. That really is jaw-dropping. I can't say much because I don't do Stock anymore, but... wow. 843

I'd give that up to the custom textures/surface layers I've been working on - basically fade-ins and fade-outs of various metal textures at various hues. I might also make different colours and release it as a pack sometime.
Need to make a good scratch fade and rivet fade, but doing rivets as a surface layer doesn't work because of the way that RA2 stretches textures rather than looping them ![]() 844

I can't believe I've been making bots for 4 years... Bloody hell - we've come a long way.
Also, it took me 4 years to learn how to BFE. Kill me. This is the first bot I've made using BFE - just to drop the chassis height. ![]() IRL BW? Haven't seen one of them in a while. I think we need more IRL BW's. 845

Download an AI pack called Starcore V4. That AI pack has all the 'up-to-date' bots that are used in competitions and whatnot, and is a very good way to understand what you're lacking - instead of us telling you, why not just do a side-by-side comparison of your bots, and the opponent's bots?

Looking pretty awesome, man. I assume that the zebra texture needs some weathering - other than that, I can't think of anything to add.

You take as much time as you want. Judging from these screenshots, the end product is going to be jaw-droppingly amazing. Proud of both of you's. 851

OH MY GOD.
I will never get to play Robot Wars RA2 because I just died. I suffered from a happiness overdose and just collapsed on my keyboard. THAT IS AMAZING 852
Ironforge TC Showcases / Re: FOTEPX's IronForge Showcase of Bleh« on: August 26, 2014, 02:23:24 PM »
You could do that, but in IronForge pokers are OP, so it's best to rely on pokers.
Can somebody make an IronForge Trinity spinner, plz? ![]() 853
Ironforge TC Showcases / Re: FOTEPX's IronForge Showcase of Bleh« on: August 26, 2014, 02:02:40 PM »Does it work? I tried making those a long time ago but the servos weren't strong enough to lift the chassis In Ironforge, yes. It also works for MW's and HW's by daisy-chaining servo's. 854
Ironforge TC Showcases / FOTEPX's IronForge Showcase« on: August 26, 2014, 01:49:15 PM »![]() An experimental bot I made that I don't think falls into any bot category. Basically, it lifts itself above the competition using the 4 servo pistons, then shoots down with the two center pistons, directly onto the chassis of the opponent. If this has been made before, then cool. If not, I think this bot type should be called "Dropper". 855

Seeing no boxed copy of Extreme Destruction (GBA) In your collection makes me feel like a very lucky man... Such a good game, as well.

No, it's not an RA2 AI - It's an AI that has multiple teams, and I need some team names.
Anything that sounds cool and is 1/2 words long should work. Cheers. (Names of bots from Robot Wars/Battlebots are accepted) |
