Took it to friend's house; on way back, a gust of wind flew it out the window. It was very light (about 10 grams) but about the size of a small chair.
But that doesn't even the same thing D: The CLU is a bit larger than an old computer monitor and the missile is about as long as I am tall IIRC

I have this L-shaped piece of metal from when I visited a welding shop and the guy said I could take it. I'm trying to figure out how best to use it; it doesn't offer a terribly good reach.

Sure thing. The skinny side is about 5 in, the wide side is about 6.5 in. I used this piece to practice cutting,welding it back together, and grinding (that's where the gold parts came from)

Let's see... *takes rough measurements* With some clever cutting, welding and grinding, you could make something similar to the Machete Gladius from Fallout: New Vegas.
