I think you, Jack Daniels and myself are the only people left that spent significant time on the old forums who are AU's not vets... I kinda miss the old guard

...but why '01? I have basically every installment up to '10 (no '06 I think). Also, in later games it had a "potential" rating (not sure if it does in '01) where players could achieve a greater rating over time through experience, playing on good lines, etc. Thus, eliminating the "rate me as 95 plzzz." Anyways:

And yeah, after sifting through 200 pages of pr0n and stick figures, I couldn't find anything else old.
I never backed out, I was an alternate :P And wow, the bots that VB found (on page 15) were Nitroglycerine (VS) and The Black Death (Juggler). That sure brings back memories. And I also <3 that you guys found the ARBBC and TTC splashes (I actually made the combat arena skin for the ARBBC). Geez, I look at the TTC splash especially and I remember some of the people... Barbie, eFFe, Anulbis, Sorrow, Armadillo, Harcsa, Pivanov, Phlox, Botreactor...and Modder.ty. I remember when M.ty first showed up. Looking back on it, HE WAS EXACTLY LIKE SPARKEY WAS AT THE BEGINNING. We flamed the  outta him for entering Wheely Big Cheese in the TTC because it flipped down, launching the chassis up in the air like its IRL counterpart and it was huge. He and Botreactor did win a couple of matches though... Botreactor was a pretty good builder back in the day. I just looked through my first showcase on the RA2 forums. I was such a n00b >.< So... since my bots were in the "blast from the past" thread, does that mean I'm a vet *HINT*?

Doesn't really matter what this is IMO. It's done with .gmf editing, therefore in the same neighborhood as BFE, AAM, et all, and therefore already illegal in most tourneys/BotM's.

great match Urjak.. kinda killed my championship hopes :P
as for the points updates (I havent done them for either round yet as im pushed for time but...)
Urjak and Ounce have already wrapped up 2 places in the final 4..
Somebody looks like he will wrap up one as all he must do is win one round to make a play off and 2 rounds to wrap up a place
I need to hope Pwnator, Scrap and Mike dont win more then 1 match and Istill hang on to the 4th place :D
(see how these points start to workout exciting.. also notice non contenders like R0B0 can ruin others chances :P)
I should have beat Doom the first time around anyways. And HOLY CRAP THAT WAS CLOSE against Redline. C33, you're next  So, if my understanding of the format is correct, I could theoreticly win all of my remaining matches, get into the grand final, win the grand final and still not finish first? If that's the case, then the grand final champ > the overall champ.

Personally, I can't stand pro soccer (or football for everybody that cares). There's so much diving and faking injuries it's pathetic. As amazing athletes as they are, soccer (or football) players are just as big wimps. I just can't sit down to watch a sport that not only has a place in the game for diving, but actually encourages it for drawing penalties.
It's a shame too, because soccer (or football) is such a great sport at the minor/grassroots level and so much fun to play.

R4 was about 5 years old by the time it came 2nd in BBEANS 5. If a bot's good enough, it will stay competitive for a long time.

I beat Half-Life 2 this morning. I have to say the ending was a bit dissapointing. Mabye Chapters 1 and 2 will be better, or at least end with a better cliffhanger.
