In his defense it's just an AI change. It's not like he edited the bot. I'd allow it. This non self righting thing is a glaring issue.
I get what you're saying but I mean If I'm not allowed to send an update before the matches have even been recorded, then surely it would be unfair for someone to completely change how their bot thinks (The AI) after it's competed in two matches, no?
It's just the way it performs. How it uses the tool, not what tool it uses. And such an essential thing like the ability to Self-right especially for a hammer should not be absent.

Beef didn't self right during his first match, I kept flipping him back over. Also, I don't think any praise could prevent you from the ungodly beating you're about to get from... WILLIAMJONES!

The reason why my bot kept flipping it back over is because I use the more fun 'Flipper.py' as apposed to 'Flipper2.py'. How exciting would the match have been if I just let Beef get counted out? Keep flippin' 'em, I say, whether means I lose as a consequence or not.

Can you please explain why Tommy is not advancing to the next round even though he lost to the Byebot? A byebot is just to take the place of a bye and is supposed to you know....lose...I mean he detention of a bye is "the transfer of a competitor directly to the next round of a competition in the absence of an assigned opponent." so ya...
Agreed... you're allowing yourself extra entries which is cheating.
