Yes, but if I loved everyone how I loved myself, I would be insulting them constantly, and then fingering them/giving them a hand job.

Jesus would actually have had pretty much jet black hair, and brown eyes rather than blond hair and blue eyes, or light brown hair and blue eyes, or whatever the hell it is said that he has
Jesus was black. There's no way that, living in Israel, he could be white. His skin tone must be anywhere from tan to black. Just like the people America's gonna shoot on suspicion of terrorism now that law's been passed

I'm Jewish, and I think that's okay. Jews are pretty sane.
The way of Kosher is in no way sane. Nor is the kissing the Bible, or the door decoration

With religion, everything is sane, including taking a sword with you wherever you go. And Jesus would've probably been middle-eastern looking (they aren't properly black, not sure what the technical term is), but then again, the Bible was written by a man who claimed that it was the word of God...and there are probably mistranslations because it wasn't originally written in English. So it was written by a man, and translated by another man, meaning that there are probably several errors in the Bible.

Religion is stupid. It contradicts logic too many times to be worth paying attention to.

I know being religious promotes morale values, but why can't you do that when you're Atheist?

You can, it's just that people claim it to be a religion specific value. You can not be a Buddhist and still not take drugs, drink alcohol, or eat meat. You can not be a Christian and still follow 'do unto others as you would have them do to you' (or whatever the actual quote was).

I find religion to be overrated, but maybe that's because I have grown to be cynical and pessimistic after stuff that's happened, so much so that I think that religion should go fornicate itself with some barbed wire on a stick. Saying that, let people believe what they want to believe, I have no right to stop them, if religion gives them a reason to go on, then let them believe whatever they want to believe, despite the Bible being completely wrong considering the time and place it was set (i.e. Jesus would actually have had pretty much jet black hair, and brown eyes rather than blond hair and blue eyes, or light brown hair and blue eyes, or whatever the hell it is said that he has), but it is not my right to attempt to change anybody's beliefs, nor does anybody else have the right to change mine. They can tell me about their religion, what beliefs it has, etc. but I don't want them to try to convert me.

Either way, Jonzu, are you sure you don't like this?

Nah. Not really, no.

Ah well, never mind, I'm guessing that there is probably one classical song that you will enjoy listening to, but I will not purposefully try to find it, if you dislike classical music, it's fine, nobody really has the right to bash you for it due to it being personal taste.

It's odd how well classical music can fit many things, including extremely chaotic scenes (an example of the is Saints Row the Third). Besides I also like Ride of the Valkyries, not sure why I like it for the most part, all I know is that it reminds me of the episode of Looney Tunes where Elmer Fudd sings 'kill the wabbit, kill the wabbit' with Ride of the Valkyries playing in the background. But I find classical to be enjoyable as there is likely to be at least one classical song that you feel like listening to at any one moment. Either way, Jonzu, are you sure you don't like this?

Metal is only has indistinguishable if you aren't used to it, when listening to Devildriver, I used to phase out and just hear it as instrumental when not paying attention, and now I can understand most of the lyrics, but then again, you have bands like Black Label Society which falls under blues metal, as I remember. And not all metal is emo, I'm not sure where this misconception came from. But then again, personal opinion is personal opinion,  cannot get my head around people who like modern rap, but to be honest, if they want to listen to songs that have gratuitous swearing (not that aren't metal songs that don't have gratuitous swearing), and stuff to do with pimps, bitches, and hoes, or whatever the **** they are singing about, then they should just go ahead and listen to it, nobody really has a right to stop them, and I doubt that there is anyone that is truly justified in judging other people for their musical tastes. Personally, I enjoy many genres of music, but that is just me.
I would have thought Obscura was a better example for your point about metal that's to your taste.

I like it, at least.

I do like Obscura, their lyrics are really strange and poetic, they are, but I used Devildriver as the example because I actually understand most of their lyrics, although I can understand some Obscura lyrics. And if people want an example of Obscura lyrics, I will go with... Aevum, it is the one that I can understand the most of

But I like a lot of different types of music, and there are some songs that I have no idea why I like them so much. Strangely enough, I have never met somebody who solely likes metal without going into other genres. Somebody at college likes Napalm Death, Devin Townsend, Iced Earth, Behemoth, but then he also likes stuff like Kunt and the Gang, and Clutch. On the other hand, everyone who I have met who likes rap generally only likes modern rap, and very little else. But that is just my experience, and I am not saying that all people are like this.

I like DevilDriver, really good band. lead singer looks slightly like a girl.

Anyone like Apocolyptia or Tristania

Not heard of Tristania, but I do like Apocalyptica (from what I've heard of them) Their Metallica covers were good, as well as the songs they have done with other people (I did like Bring them to Light, but I think my favourite was End of me). As for the best actual one of theirs I have heard, I would say either Hope, or Burn (as I remember, I will have to listen to their songs again before I make a final decision on that).

Funniest: GoldenFox93
Friendliest: GoldenFox93
Least likely to stay on topic: GoldenFox93
Most Enthusiastic: GoldenFox93
Biggest Show-Off: GoldenFox93

You guys need to stop sucking GF's dick, honestly.
1. Voting for him is not sucking his dick.
2. Who are you to talk?
3. But Least Likely To Stay on Topic and Biggest Show-Off are both bad; what's your problem?

Funniest, friendliest, most enthusiastic? There are better members who deserve those awards.

And the other two aren't necessarily bad... I would say Most Pessimistic, Most Annoying, and Worst Bot Builder are the only real "bad" awards.

I would disagree with pessimism being bad, but maybe it's just me that thinks that considering how many people seem to hate pessimism with a passion...to be honest, I don't see why

I don't really think so, to be honest. As much as people bitch and whine about how sh** they are, they still buy them, they still enjoy it, sure, the Pokemon are a little bad in the latest games, but after God, where else can you go? As it goes, I think I remember seeing that they went with the four horsemen of the apocalypse for the roaming legendaries, and I also remember seeing that they went with a rather apocalyptic theme for other Pokemon as well, showing how the world was dying/could die. But no matter how many incarnations it has, the working system has stayed the same, and it is a system that people enjoy. And that is the main reason I like Pokemon. I still think that they should have it like second generation, and being able to go to the other regions after beating the Elite Four, or choosing your starting region, or something along those lines, possibly even going as far as to choose your own starter, with the only restriction being that it has to be a first evolution, and have two level based evolutions that proceed it.

I don't think you need to post it twice.
Yes I do, most of the people doesn't check TF2 thread. :3
That's because TF2 is sh**, and TF2 jokes and memes are the most unfunny things ever devised by humankind.
reasons help
TF2 memes are the most overused things on the ****ing planet, and they weren't all that funny to begin with. Now they tend to induce vomiting. That's like saying food sucks because 99.99% of people eat it. And what relevance has this to the game itself?

And TF2 is for casuals. That's just common knowledge. That depends on the server. Several of the more experienced players are complete bosses at the game and play specific servers to cater for that.
Now better reasons.
It has sh**ty graphics compared to Call of Duty, and unlike Call of Duty, it restricts you to only a few classes. Plus, TF2 allows spawn killing and any game that allows spawn killing is automatically a bad game because the developers didn't even bother to make it fair.

Call of Duty does allow for spawn killing though, especially Black Ops. so by that reasoning, CoD is as bad as TF2, at least. And I can't be bothered to say anything else about it because you are attempting to troll.

CM?

It's-a-me, Chaosmancer... I think. Jonzu called me CM for a bit, but then I told him to call me Chaos because CM even confuses me because I'm not used to it. Then again, I suppose 'CM' is probably easier to type than 'Chaos', so each to their own.

This can't be happening... Another of my friends got stabbed...

Video is made by my friend... Also the news page is here:
http://www.iltalehti.fi/uutiset/2012010215030483_uu.shtml

There has every day happened something bad for me in 2012... not good... :frown:

Can you translate what it says? I can't read it.

Although Google Translate is rather bad, I will do so anyway because I am interested (I will obviously paste the image in the right place (even though it failed, copying the hyperlink should work)).

Quote from: Google Translate
Äänekoski Saturday's killing occurred the night of the motive is likely to be 18-year-old victim and the suspect's 18-year-old dispute between the former.

I think most people disregarded Garvin from voting because he doesn't come here that much anymore, much like how 027 didn't get any votes because he can't come to Junkyard anymore/doesn't come to GTM anymore.

Most Pessimistic: Saying that you're pessimistic doesn't MAKE you pessimistic.

But I also wouldn't say that I was if I wasn't. Seriously, you can ask Scourge just how pessimistic I am... and whoever the other two people who voted me to be most pessimistic were. I haven;t been around long enough to prove the true extent of my pessimism to the people here (and haven't had many chances to show the true extent of it either), but Scourge has known me for the better part of two years, and is rather closely acquainted with my pessimism. But if you don't want to believe me, that's fine, I shouldn't let one person's opinion affect me that much.
One of the other people who voted for you was me; your skype convos are depressing :L

Guessed that you would be one of them, but I am not sure 1. Who else voted, and 2. Who else has seen Skype with my depressing conversations. Unless it was Jonzu who voted for me, or something.
