Nah, it's fine:
![]() Heck it wouldn't even be able to beat SW without the top flails. I also found that sometimes the vertical axles can help it get back on its wheels. XD And if vertical flails do better against wedges, then I'm actually keeping them, seeing how wedges are utilized often in DSL. 824

Was expecting more comments.
![]() Anyway, how does it fare against fast wedges?Well, it managed to beat Infection 2 and Little Door Rat once, but not again. Maybe because it was using a different armor setup. Anyway... ![]() Gave Eris a new weapon setup; it uses the stronger 90 degree axles, and is slightly deadlier now. Everything else is the same. ![]() 4 ants, 5mm plastic MW pinner. Filler until I can come up with something else ...MWAHAHAHA! ![]() 825

I agree, there should be a weapon motor version of the long-axle TWM3Rs.
You could just use the weapon TWM3Rs, or you could switch to Piglets, which I don't recommend unless your weapon motors somehow get hit frequently. 827

I should have asked this before, but: Why are you using drive motors as weapon motors? If it's because of reach, then why not move the piston farther back? Maybe you can take away 1-2 ants as well.
Other than those things, it looks pretty cool! :D 828

Nice looking bots there.
First one: Now where have I seen that before?... oh yeah: ![]() Made that about 9 1/2 months ago. It used almost the same setup as yours, but was unrealistic like most of my early bots. It was eventually recycled into my CC3 entry, but whatever. I'm thinking the plastic extender used to hold the weapon bar is there so the weapon doesn't pass through the wheels, am I right? Second one: I'm worried about having such weak armor on a fairly exposed chassis. Maybe you can take away weight from the weapon to apply stronger armor and maybe strengthen the side stabilizers. Having a tighter chassis could help, too. 829

I like the looks of it!
![]() To improve it, I would suggest adding one more ant battery, using 1mm tite, and if you can, getting door hinge wedges. 830

If it's a SnS or something similar, easy. Just give it FBS.py and maybe talk to someone like Naryar on understanding it more.

Considering the number of DSL builders there are nowadays, I wouldn't be surprised if the list is half-filled or more by the time I sign up.
I need to get building... 834

It's obvious who made #5, and maybe #2. #3 looks pretty good, and #4 looks cool. #1 is okay, and is #6 a joke entry?
Which one do I like the best? I'm going to have to go with #2 837

A rebuild of one of my first ever LWs in DSL:
![]() 3 ants, 1mm titanium It's pretty destructive thanks to the reach it gets from the Robot X Swords. I wish I still had pics of the original, which was scrapped because: 1.It had only DSL bars for weapons 2.It was unstable 3.It was unrealistic (I had used the inner AP on the motor to attach the weapon) Now, I kinda regret getting rid of it, because it would have had potential with some refining, and I was right: ![]() 838

^I think I can fix that a bit.^
R0B0, if those rankings are your true votes, wouldn't that mean that I would actually be 4th top builder in DSL? 839

Then maybe you can use metal skirts for the trappers. They have a nice HP/kg ratio, but are hard to work with because of few attachment points. I bet you can find a setup that works for this though.
![]() And 5mm plastic > 3mm tite 840

I tend not to build/keep designs that I think will not work or do not work for me, so I don't have any pictures, but some of my attempted designs included:
Full-body TS powered by the NCR glitch A gutripping poker with angled pistons Various sideways drum designs (both in stock and DSL) and recently I attempted to make a 6WD VS in stock. |
