Ok, Natef, i got your bots by email. There might be a flipper wall in the arena to make things a bit harder for flippers. Anyway, im still accepting entries, and making my own. Im going to have a a few replicas from DSL (Storm 2, Behemoth, Supernova, Chaos 2, Pussycat, Wheely Big Cheese, Tornado, 259, Hypno-Disc, The Judge & Dominator 2, these bots are my favs out of the DSL pack, plus i may be changing some of them slightly, for example, just today i replced the motors in Storm 2 for some better ones) These are the only replicas im having at the moment, but i may bring more in if needed. Thanks for any music suggestions, they'll really help me to make this series the best yet. Thanks Wham

Right, talking with mad about the arena, at the mo its the RA2 Toruny arena (BBEANS 1) Yes, i'll do all the AI'ing for the bots. Anyway, ideas for the arena are so far a back wall, pits and floor flipper.

OK, YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR ME, WHILE YOUR PARTYING IM SLEEPING! Anyway, send me bots ASAP. PLEASE TRY AND AVOID REPLICAS, AND BOTS MUST BE DSL. Im still accepting Heavys (atleast 30) Plus about 10 more Featherweights could be good. (176-200kg) Then i'll just go to middles lights ants beetles ect. Plus, any music i can use for the series please tell me, no need to send, i will just get it myself. Thanks Wham

No, no entrys for a long time.
LATEST NEWS: AI'ed bots go up to the DSL Black Storm team, so AI'ing and bots are going ok. In order for the series to start, i need at least 50 robots (like 4 aws, 2bws, ect) Once i have enough bots going, i may do a video of the competitors (Just the HWs) Also, im looking for any good music i can use in the new series (Battles, theme, inbetween fights, ect.) Im kinda stuck for ideas robot wise, if i dont get any good ones i may have to go for box's on wheels XD Also, not exactly needed, but if anyone has expirience in editing arenas, i would love it if the arena for this series was updated from the original one.
Thanks Wham

Yes, but no doubt there are other bots who use that component. Hmm, may be able to do something about it...

Hi all. I dont know if anyones done this before but you know whenever Firestorm fires his flipper, he always havocs out of controll? I found a fix for this, and a good explenation. Rather than give out a file or that, i'll let you do it for yourselves. First, the reason why: Firestorm uses The Judge's burst motor (the same as Thermidor uses), and because the burst is so powerfull, it needs to be powered down by weight in order to not havoc. So, to fix this, heres what you have to do: First, open up RA2 for DSL 2.1, then go to the components folder. Find the firestormflipper.txt file, and open it up. When opened (use notepad to veiw the file) go to the line that says mass: 10 Simply change the line from mass: 10 to mass: 30. Save and close, then open RA2 and things should have sorted them selves out. No need to change the components, they should change automatically.
Sorry if i've just repeated something that has already been explained, but i just thought i would share this, lol. I hope i've done some good.
Thanks Matt Wham

Acctually, there was something like that on a long time ago. It was called combat cars, staged over here, a bit like that series except they used cars and they had no artilary. It was cool, but no doubt this new one is good (thanks for telling me about this, i'll ask my tivo, or mum (me and my dads nickname for her, she records stuff for you she thinks you'll like) to record it for me)

Well, if you want to make something like stinger, heres what i do (put as best as i can) if you have a small box chassis, and put 2 small motors by the sides, and connect 2 big wheels 2 them for a start. Then put a baseplate at the front and back. On the front put your weapons. At the back, if you modify something like a 20cm extender to weigh about 100kg, and connect 2 on a t connecter, when testing, the bot should saw back wards and forwards. 2 other ways are using servos or instead of wheels use dsl shell parts.

I could, but some of them would require custom components, of which i cannot do. Besides, i wouldnt even have time, at the moment, i have to think what im going to do for my options at school (my options are my future!)

Just had a 4 hour outdoor robot event (unfortunatly, there was smokers amongst the roboteers, i HATE cigarette smoke, blah!) Plus, on mon-wed me and my friend have to usually walk to and from school (1/4 mile!) Then i might play out with my friends for an hour or 2, so i get quite a bit of time outside (plus my window is usually open if that counts, lol!)

I would say something right now about all this but im scared someone in the 'Mean' catergory will tell me to "F*** OFF YOU HAIRY DOGS B*******!" as they would do to a newbie with a simple, friendly question such as "Where do i get DSL?"
